Best hosting ever, the owner is super kind and available to help. The quality/price rate for the accomodation is super high: the bed is super comfortable, the shower works perfectly, the location is great! Definitely a the best solution in Macao for an authentic Dominican Republic experience of kindness, if not interested in super fancy resorts.

Staff is amazing! Very quiet location so we slept well. AC works well and the room was clean.

It was far away from most things in Punta Cana and going around with Uber gets expensive. Shower had only cold water.

Jorge is a very amazing person, he goes above and beyond to help guests with whatever they need. I loved that the room was extremely clean when I arrived, the bed is very comfortable. I personally had an amazing stay. I also loved the two 🐕.

The location is great, near the main road, not far away to Macao Beach. 30 seconds to a nice restaurant. The owner is superfriendly and welcoming, he makes you feel right at home. There is a terrace with a kitchen and fridge and sitting area right at his house. Parking is easy right in front and for free. The WiFi works fast. The house is clean and quiet.

Few things could be improved: -maybe small table or shelves to put some stuff -only cold shower -depending on the room, others can look into it from the stairs

The personnel is really friendly.

The shower was only the pipe. No cards or paypal accepted. TV was not working. I was offered coffee but no breakfast.

I made a mistake I think by asking to switch rooms. Tilson kindly agreed to my request to find a room with a view (where after checking later booking.com clearly showed the room I'd chosen and paid for didn't have one). However the new room had a lot of problems that I won't go into here. I felt I'd already put him to enough trouble with the new room so didn't push the idea of moving back to the original room. In hindsight though it was a big mistake to switch. Lesson learned! The best aspect of this property is kind Mr. Tilson and his charming family. The coffee also was first rate!

1. There is no hot water at all in this place. Never. There is only 1 water tap for cold water. Hot water is not provided. The water pressure is close to zero. 2. In the place where the shower should be, a crooked pipe comes out of the wall. That's it. There is nothing else. 3. Very dirty. The toilet bowl was so dirty it was hard to tell when it had last been cleaned. 4. Despite the fact that I asked for a quiet room, we were given a room near the reception itself. The soundproofing of the room was not at all. Everyone who spoke at the reception could be heard perfectly in the room, as it would be spoken directly into the room. Hotel guests also came at night and talked very loudly, a dog barked at night (inside the hotel). It was impossible to sleep normally. 5. There was a glass window between our room and the corridor, from the corridor you could see the whole room and how I was lying in bed. There was no privacy at all.
