Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaThe AC does not dry the room air, but only makes it cold. Because of this the beds were always wet and uncomfortable.
The pulls and the beach are great. The animation is exellent. Food is also good.

United StatesI love being able to make myself a cup of coffe upon awakening. The coffee and coffee maker was excellent but no milk or creamer provided. My husband likes tea. There were teabags but no way to heat water for a cup of tea. Other than that we love Iberostar
We have stayed at Iberostar multiple times over the years. All are great. The staff is excellent. Always impeccable clean. Looking forward to our next stay at an Iberostar

ColombiaIn this time of the year the beach was not good because it was full of seeweed even though they cleaned it every morning The staff could be more gentle The drinks in the restaurant could have better quality
The food for an All Inclusive hotel was very ok and the other restaurants by reservation surprised me. The parties at night including the shows were very good

United StatesThe rooms have AC, but you can’t control the temperature. You can control the fan speed. Never the less, we were never hot or uncomfortable. Definitely bring bug spray. The tiny little devil mosquitoes are awful in the evenings. Most places where food is served is outdoors so dress accordingly. The only complaint I really have is the relentless vendors on the beach constantly stopping by to pitch their goods or activities.
We stayed at the “Punta Cana” building of the resort. It was a good value and perfect for a family. The rooms were a bit dated BUT CLEAN. The entire resort and grounds were all really clean. Food was ok and everyone was able to find something they liked for all meals whether it was a restaurant or buffet. Beach and water was gorgeous-get there early for a shady spot. The golf course is hands down one of the best we have ever played on. Booking excursions and dinners through the hotel was easy and we had no issue. Shout out to Edina and Joseph for making everything so smooth.

Czech RepublicThe hotel is older, our room definitely did not look like 5 star hotel. We had a problem with our room key almost every day and had to go to reception repetiadely.
The beach is amazing, enough sun beds for everyone. The pools are big and water was warm enough.

United StatesThe hustlers. They were everywhere and really pushy. They got really upset if you said no and tried to change your mind and show you more of their stuff that we had seen throughout the resort. Even the men grabbing coconuts from the trees right in front of the resort were trying to get you to pay for them after being cut up. The toilet in the resort leaked and by the end of our stay the sink faucet broke off due to the corrosion it had underneath. We called the front desk about it but they weren't surprised. The shower water was really dirty and left dirt marks in the bathtub. One day a maintenance man opened our door right up without knocking. I think the room service lady told him about the tub and he was coming to fix it, but you really need to tell them to knock. Luckily we were fully clothed and AWAKE. We stuck empty bottles in front of the door for the rest of the stay so we would hear anyone come in. There was only one brand of beer and they didn't have anything besides tequila at the resort. The food was ok. The best meal my sister and I had was at the Japanese restaurant. The Sushi I would not trust...avoid that. If you are staying 6 nights or so, they only let you book restaurants for two of those nights. The other nights you will be eating at the numerous buffets they have.
I loved the Garden view we had. Love how quiet the resort was, everything shut down around 6 or so because that's when the beaches/pools closed down and dinner started. I really enjoyed the kindness from the staff. They were very sweet! Room service always kept our rooms tidy and kept the fridge stocked with beer and soda. No Mosquitoes!!! I loved that! AC in the room had a sensor so when you opened the balcony, it would turn itself off and when you closed it, it turned back on.

United StatesSome facility issues, broken elevator one day. There were ants in our room when we checked in, but it was quickly taken care of. It seems this is more of a mid range resort.
Good price, location, food was pretty good standard buffet type at a all inclusive resort. Most resort employees were super nice and helpful. Huge pools to accommodate all the guests which is nice. Great location right next to a beach.

United Statesconstantly dirty dirty plates, some cups. Had to always search for cereal bowls, scrambled eggs were gross and very wet, should be served out of thick porcelain white pans. Soups always luke warm and lame, cooked with no skill. In general most hot food was lame compared to RUI, poor skill and execution. Cold food, desserts and breads were the stars. Garbage meat carved cooked until dead (buy good meat from Miami!!!) I did not see a lot of supervision, many standing standing around oblivious to problems. No presence of GM? 95% of staff did not speak English. Mexican, French and Asian restaurant a disgrace, did not try others. Hot food not enough variety, need more Asian dishes, noodle dishes, varied fried rice, Asian soups (but I suspect the hot kitchen is not skilled enough from what I saw, it needs a remake big time! Also needs more well executed European dished and better executed Latin dishes. Warm nachos with slices of American cheese on top?? (a new low) Fruits excellent. Need American breakfast style pork sausage with home fries and are actually browned??. employees in the small pool snack bar handling pizza and other stuff with their bare hands?? No wonder people get sick from eating resort foods
variety of the main buffet, but lots of repitition

United States1. We had requested two beds per room + two rooms adjoining and paid extra. They tried to give us rooms with one bed and a fold out couch. Then rooms on different floors. After complaining, we finally got two rooms near each other with twin beds, but not two queen beds. 2. Bring a washcloth. Apparently they don't use wash clothes in the DR.
1. The grounds are huge and immaculate. Truly exceptional. 2. The beach, pools, chairs, etc were also fantastic. 3. The buffet for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve was outstanding in both presentation and quality of food. 4. The bars were well stocked and the drinks were tasty. 5. All the employees seemed happy and were hard working. 6. Brush up on your Spanish as most of the employees speak very little if no English. 7. The food was generally good. Some hit or miss. If you expect 5* food all the time you will be disappointed.
