Great location in the heart of Zona Colonial. Hotel is beatiful, loacated in the old mansion however rooms are renovated. The great advantage is a private garage as we arrived by car. We could park with no issues and for free. All necessary amenities in the very spacious bathroom.

An iron to go with the ironing board that hangs in the closet. Would come in handy with business trips and lengthier stays. The included breakfast was mediocre with very small selections, but adequate.

The location and the quality of the room were exquisite. The staff is extremely amicable and attentive to details. The hotel itself is a like a true old castle. Loved the archeological corner with discoveries from the early colonial period on display, including an old encrusted sword and old Spanish colonial furniture. The private terrace that came with our room was just out of this world to relax. The private covered parking is highly appreciated in the busy Zona Colonial area.

Any little extras I wanted for breakfast were not possible to make - I need to order from menu and pay for a whole meal. Two rooms booked together were SO FAR away from each other.

There wasn't a working elevator to the rooftop pool, and the four floors of stairs proved too difficult for my companion with a knee injury to navigate more than once.

We really enjoyed the ambience. It was like traveling back to a less-hassled era in time and courtesy. The bed was very comfortable; the bathroom roomy; breakfast tasty, and the staff was helpful. The rooftop pool was nicer than I expected! A courtyard ringed in black wrought iron and cascading vines and flowers was just gorgeous!

There were a lot of mosquitoes.. even in my room. I have a lot of mosquitos bites on my skin...and the mosquitoes sing in my ear while sleeping....annoying..🤨

I had to turn the air on and off to adjust the room temperature. If not it would get to cold or hot. Mosquitoes stayed in the room. I had to buy flying insect spray to spray when I left the room and I had to sleep with my head under the covers to not get bitten at night. The shower water is not hot.

The pool was great. The breakfast was ok. the porters were extremely helpful, and the other staff was nice. The location was great. It was in close proximity to the areas activities. Since the area asked that you not put tissue or paper in the toilet, it had a water sprayer for use after you do your business. that was great.

Breakfast was blah. Cooked options were limited and not tasty. Would do better by adding bacon, eggs, hash brown potatoes etc. Coffee cups were tiny, had to refill 5 times after a few sips. Also, the courtyard was very noisy with kids and people talking and yelling very early in the morning. Hard to sleep in, we were on vacation after all!

Lack of some maintenance and as an example pool area and the door lock, safe was loose and not to big so in reality easy to cary out, quick repairs all over. Then again somebody from the hotel was always there and available.

A/C didn't work, and it was hot inside. The person who tried to fix the A/C came into the room, played with the thermostat for a while and then walked out of the room saying, “in 10 minutes” and the next time happened the same. A/C was fixed on the last day of my stay only. No hot water. Poor breakfast and poor service.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. The location and the room size were good. Lovely colonial style building, with garden and small roof pool. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were polite.
