There’s nothing not to like

Let me start by saying that this house is beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable with hot water and working AC, we reserved the 2 houses and one of them was more than enough for the 2 families. There’s 2 rooms on the first floor and 2 double beds rooms upstairs It had a kitchen that we didn’t use because we ate out One thing that I didn’t know was that every single thing from that rustic house 1 and rustics house 2 the owner (Roberto) was the one who constructed just like the restaurant tables and chairs Our breakfast was served by the owner It was such a pleasure meeting him and can not wait to go back to his new rustic house #3 that is in his plans of start construction on We were there only one day and were heartbroken that couldn’t extend our stay because our days were counted to go to other places which we had reservations already

There's nothing that our group did not like.

The whole apartment is located on top of the restaurant. An excellent Dominican or Continental breakfast is served at the restaurant. The apartment is enormous and fits big groups. The AC works pretty well, so you are never feeling the extreme heat, especially at night. They offer a tour to Cayo Arena which I recommend because it is for your group only, making it a private experience. Overall, our whole group was more than satisfied with Robert and his team's service during our stay.

Pictures do no justice to this property. It’s even more stunning in person. If you’re looking for a cozy and relaxing vacation this is the place to stay!! The hosts are absolutely amazing and make you feel right at home.

There was nothing that was negative.

Rustic House is located in the centre of Punta Rucia. Very large living areas with bathroom and kitchen. in our apartment could stay at least 8 to 12 people. Nothing was missing. Everything was very clean and also very quiet. The staff was always very helpful and hardworking. The kindness of everyone working there was amazing. Breakfast was prepared every day with love. The owner, Robert, is a real buddy type. Very helpful, with very good English. We spent 5 days there, and would recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone. If we should come back to Punta rucia at some point, then there is only one choice. At robert you can also book a boat trip to the small Cayo Arena, which we can highly recommend. The price performance ratio is absolutely in line here. Many greetings go to Robert, Nori, Kathrin, Tito (El Capitano) Alexander, and the whole team from the Rustic House. Finally, a small recommendation from us for dinner. A little a minute from the hotel is the cozy restaurant with the names,,damaris,, there you can eat very cheap and very good.

Everything was great the only thing is it needs an extra restroom for the amount of people staying and a wall fan in the Living room area to keep it cool even though you are going to want to spend most of your time at the beach i loved Everything about this place..

Love everything about it from the rustic house design of the place down to the workers and it being just a few steps away from the beach couldn't ask for more will definitely be going back also roberto was an amazing host took care of me and my family anything we needed he was there and always on call great hospitality..thank you roberto.

Food was good - both breakfasts and special meal ordered after their arranged boat trip out to Cayo Arena and then the mangroves for the morning - memorable day - great staff. Centralized location - short walk to store and food/drink. Nearby sound of local music great ambience. Highly recommend them over alternatives in Punta Rucia.

Robert and his staff are great hosts. Robert made sure we got the avocado we asked for and shared his delicious mangos with us. We also loved hearing about how the structure was made. Great location and the food was excellent!

It wasn’t about the property or the staff but we did all unfortunately get sick, probably from uncooked vegetables washed in tap water. Just be extra careful.

Robert and the whole crew were incredible! They booked all of our excursions and cooked us up some delicious meals. I even got sick one night and they made me a delicious chicken soup on the spot. So grateful for them! And the house itself wow Robert built the entire thing himself and is a very talented carpenter!
