“We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel feels friendly and comfortable, with a beautiful design full of wood, which also nicely matches its name Maderanegra.
The man working in the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. He explained many things to us, even checking the bus schedule.
Our room was clean and medium-sized, with a practical wardrobe and plenty of hooks for clothes and bags.
Breakfast was a simple but good start to the day (coffee, juice, cheese sandwich, fruit). Not a huge variety, but enough.
Latacunga is a good base (much closer than from Quito) to visit Laguna Quilotoa (by cheap public bus from the terminal) and Cotopaxi Nationalpark (by tour).”
