We loved our stay here! The bed was super comfortable, shower was hot, was close to restaurants etc, and the breakfast in the morning was lovely.

There is a fee for credit card transactions, but I do understand. There was no elevator but they did take your bags to the rooms.

We booked two rooms. The Queen Room with the spa bath was quite the surprise. You could tell the room had been recently renovated and it was a great bang for your buck. The spa in the room was great and the view of the river from the spa bath was nice. The room even had USB-C outlets built into the night stand area. They provided 2 robes which were nice to use after being in the spa. The breakfast was a nice addition. The raspberry juice tasted amazing and the eggs and bread were nice. This seemed like a family ran establishment and they were so nice and helpful. They even held our bags for the day as we completed some tasks. I would recommend this place to anyone. They do take credit card, but there is a fee, so be mindful to bring cash if you want some savings. The location is downtown and an easy walk to the bus station. There are many eateries near by.

Our room was really noisy. Not just the river, but traffic, too. BUT, our friends in a no-view room found it quiet.

Great location in downtown. Super clean! Modest breakfast delivered to your floor. Our room had a small view of the mighty river in the STEEP canyon.

I upgraded to the third floor rooms, which were spectacular. Breakfast delivered each day. Location opposite from the bus station.

Great view of the bridge. Simple breakfast was very pleasant. Just a few minutes walk from Banos centre. I had a lovely stay here.

The water in the shower was crazy. When first on it was scalding hot and when adjusting the nozzle it didn’t change. Then it changed to ice cold and you could adjust it to warmer. On Booking they only show pictures of the deluxe rooms so you think you’re getting one of those when you aren’t. Also I’m fairly certain I got food poisoning from breakfast.

Expensive laundry

Wonderful family/staff. Very quiet, always able to hear river water and very fresh breeze. Best breakfasts we have had in Ecuador, always bringing it up to balcony when we are ready, even had it ready at earlier time when we asked for our final day. Had our choice of rooms since husband is a light sleeper, always cleaned it for us each morning.

You have to ring to be let in the front door. It was not a problem at all I just felt bad when we came In Late. They were always quick to answer the door.

The location was excellent! Right on the river, close to town but nice and quiet. Breakfast on the patio was wonderful. We loved our stay.

The location was really convenient it is nearby the bus station and a few minutes away from the city center. The most impressive fact, we eat our breakfast with an amazing view mountains and river, we heard the noise of the water! Our room was comfy and quiet which allowed us to rest after daily activities. Personel was kind and helpful.

There is only one negative thing and it has to do with the bedrooms, after all it is a hostal so the rooms are very close to each other and are not soundproof so be careful of making to much noise.

The place feels like a hotel despite it being called a Hostal. The staff was very helpful and informative about local tourist sites. The balcony view from the hostal was very beautiful, and the place is located fairly closely to the bus terminal.

The view from every mornings breakfast was amazing! Comfy bed , friendly hosts, hot water in the shower, and good wifi . They recommended Wonderful bike rentals to SE Pailón del Diablo waterfall and the couple was very friendly .

I have to ring a bell for someone to let you in the hotel. If you go out and come back late at night/ early morning. I would feel bad waking up the personal working in the hotel. I do understand the security feature of this, atleast it is safe!

The mountain view was stunning! The hotel is in a very quiet location just outside of the bus terminal, which is super convenient. You are just a quick 8-minute walk from the center of Banos. It gives you the opportunity to see the many stores and restaurants on the way. We had breakfast at the hotel just outside of our room on the balcony, and the view is just beautiful! The hotel is very clean and quiet, our room had a large window that opened to allow fresh air. The beds were comfortable and stylish! We will stay here again for sure.

Scrambled eggs for breakfast every day, but different flavored smoothies so that was nice.

Breakfast view and service on the balcony was exceptional. View from our room was very scenic. Price was in our range, and there are luxury suites as well if desired.

The hotel is called hostel, which is not true, as it does not have a shared kitchen area, probably no shared rooms. But the facilities in the room are better than most hostels. Breakfast is good for a day, as it's the same on the next day.

Good location, quiet. Friendly staffs. Room is good with best WiFi in Ecuador and hot water ( from tap). Hope it will have a shared kitchen or at least somewhere to make coffee or get hot water for cooking instant noodles.
