It states daily housekeeping, when in fact it's every 2 days. Which is fine, but the towels won't dry easily in the humid environment and smell a bit damp after just one day. We asked for clean towels and got them immediately, so again, really no issues. Tatiana and her team know how to look after their guests!

The orchid garden is absolutely stunning, and the entire place has a fantastic feel of being almost completely remote- even though it's in town! We stayed in the more rustic bungalow, so make sure you review all pictures relevant to your booking, not just the deluxe accommodation, otherwise you might be a bit surprised! It was all comfortable and nice, had an issue with the hot shower, but it got fixed pretty much immediately. Someone is always on hand, the staff are lovely and friendly and realy helpful.

I was a little late back from an early morning bird tour but was still given breakfast with a smile. Organised early morning transport back to Quito airport for a reasonable rate. Definitely recommend!

We waited a bit to make contact with anyone on arrival. Also the reception area although nice could have less non- pretty stuff lying around.

In the middle of a beautiful garden full of orchids and strange flowering plants. Basic comfy cabanas- rustic.Perfectly adequate breakfast. Owner helped us fill up our hot water flask twice. Owner arranged a birding walk with excellent guide Alex. Also advised where to go for humming bird viewing at Hermit trail with Anthony which had been fantastic.

The family that runs the Cabanas is lovely. They are accommodating and kind. The room was large, airy and comfortable with a private bathroom. It was peaceful and I felt at home there. if you love orchids it is a great place to stay also.

The location was within walking distance of downtown. As we were leaving early on a birding tour, I was pleased that they prepared hard boiled eggs, a sandwich, gave us some apples, and left us with juice the night before so we had something to eat since we would miss their normal breakfast time.

The hotel staff organised an early “cock of the rock” birding tour for us, it was excellent, and one of of our Ecuadorian highlights. $100US for two people - saw many birds and had a basic breakfast with hummingbirds flying around. I can recommend the tour and the hotel.

Beautiful breakfast with fresh fruits, juices, coffee, tea, bread, jam and butter and eggs. You can observe the birds from there. The hotel is close to the center, yet it feels like you are in a forest. It's really quite, and the orchids are stunning. Our room was big and really clean amd we could watch the bird from our window. The staff has been lovely and helpful

The staff was super friendly, and the location is great. It has a beautiful garden, plant setting, and flowers with many birds visiting. the room was super clean and comfortable with amenities, surrounded by trees. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here, and I can highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, I ran into 2 problems, one minor, one much more annoying. The minor one was the quality of the internet ... the signal was weak at times and a bit of a hit and miss ... for a longer stay, this would have been a deal breaker for me. But the most annoying thing was the shower. On my first morning, the gas bottle was empty, fortunately. it was replaced quickly and I had hot water. But on my second morning, I had to leave very early to catch a 6:30 bus as the road would be closed for repair work for the entire day. Again, I could not get the hot water working, regardless how long I had the shower running. Everybody was still asleep, so no one I could or wanted to bother.

The room and the adjacent bathroom are very beautiful, set in a quiet garden scenario. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I had asked for a room with a desk or table as it was shown in the pictures. However, that particular room was occupied ... fortunately, I was brought a large table which I could use for my 2 night stay for my laptop.

The hotel has a lovely garden where you can see birds, orchids and we saw an agouti! The rooms are clean, the shower has hot water and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I have stayed here 3 times now and I will stay here again.

Perfect, quiet location just out of the centre. Surrounded by trees and plants, therefore much to see from window. Secure and safe. So friendly and helpful. Great packed breakfasts before early start birding trips. Paid via PayPal which was easy. Not many places take cards in Mindo.

Being next to the stadium during the celebration of Mindo was a bit of a challenge but Tatiana was very accommodating.

Beautiful property very near to town center and next to the soccer stadium. We watched many birds feeding direct from our room porch. And the orchids are stunning.

If there was anything I had to pick on, it would be the roosters who start crowing at 4:30 am and the dogs that sometimes bark and whine through the night (not at the property so not their fault!). If you're a light sleeper, I would suggest bringing ear plugs. Also, the water pressure in our shower wasn't great. However, these things did NOT in ANY way affect our enjoyment of our stay there!

The location was perfect, an easy 5 minute walk to the main part of town. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and consisted of fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee, eggs, and a toasted bun. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, they were so wonderful! We loved our little cabana with a hammock on the porch, which was surrounded by nature and we saw so many hummingbirds! We appreciated the fact that we had hot water in the shower and electricity to charge our devices. We were so, so pleased with our stay, we had such a wonderful, relaxing time and would highly recommend the Cabañas de Armonia to anyone staying in Mindo.

Breakfast was really good. They made me a breakfast to go when I was up and gone before breakfast hours. I had one of the newer rooms and it was really nice. Location was easy walking distance to the main street and restaurants.
