Absolutely nothing

After traveling to 60 countries, I can say that this is the best hospitality experience I have EVER received at any hotel in my entire life. This bed and breakfast is run by the cutest couple and they take care of you like family from start to finish. I am just simply blown away by the hospitality. The bed was also so comfortable and the space is cozy and spacious. It is also a prime location about 5-10 mins from old town.

Arriving/departing by car can be a pain depending on the time of day. There is no easy way to pull off the street, so you end up holding up traffic. Call Mario a few minutes before you arrive and he'll be outside to help you.

A small boutique hotel in a restored building in the historic center of Quito. The owners are the hosts and and super people - friendly, informed, and very helpful. The hotel is a short walk to all the sites of historic Quito plus restaurants, bars etc. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-appointed.

Nothing to complain about at all. There was a miscommunication with the taxi driver with the fee but that's not something we hold against the hotel.

Mario and his wife are wonderful human beings who made us feel as if we were home. If we ever return to Quito we will only be staying here with Mario!

I can’t recommend Casa El Eden enough. The property itself is an immaculately designed haven in the city. It’s managed by the most welcoming and gracious hosts who go above and beyond for your wellbeing and comfort. The best breakfast. Very clean, well located and great value for money.

It was perfect.

I would give this hotel 11 out of 10 if I could. This is a fantastically maintained and designed boutique hotel within easy walking distance of the cultural historic centre. The rooms are superb and uniquely finished. We stayed here before and after visiting the Galapagos and the owners are so welcoming and friendly and would do anything to help make your stay more comfortable. The breakfast is perfect and sets you up for the day. I really can't fault this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

We loved it a Casa el Eden! Our plane landed at 6 AM so we arrived at 7:30AM at the Casa. The owners are super nice and lovely people, they offered us breakfast and we could Even Check-in in our room a little while later. This was Highly appreciated After our Long flight. The breakfast was great and the rooms too, very clean and bright. We can highly recommend and would always come back again.

Casa El Eden is a home away from home. Mario and Blanca are excellent hosts who go out of their way to welcome you to their home and city. The building has been lovingly restored and the rooms are excellent - spacious with super comfortable beds and an excellent shower. The breakfast is also exceptional. Mario and Blanca provided recommendations and we felt very safe in their home. Thank you for taking such good care of us. We can’t wait to return.

This hotel is in a beautiful old building right in the heart of the old city. The hosts were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make me feel safe, welcome and comfortable. We had a lovely fresh breakfast in the morning as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again if I visit Quito in the future.

Everything about Casa El Edén was exceptional - the room, the breakfast, the location in the historic center, the aesthetics of the hotel itself and above all, the owners, who made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I first stepped in. The building is gorgeous and has been beautifully restored. It’s like taking a step back in time. There are beautiful accents everywhere you look. The room I stayed in was very large, spacious, and well-lit. The building has common lounge areas and a beautiful rooftop.

There is elevator for your luggages but not for guests use. However, our rooms are on the 2nd floor, so not a big issue for us.

The hotel was managed by Mario and Blanca. They're very warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully decorated and centrally located. We can walk to town and sightseeing spots in 5-10mins.
