Hotel was gorgeous. Location couldn't be better. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. Best of all, I had an amazing view of the Good Friday procession right from my room.

Beautifully restored building in a central location. Friendly and attentive staff. Tasty food using local ingredients and catering for gluten free diets. Lovely shower. Great views of the city from the terrace.

The location is very good but the one way traffic in front of the hotel is awful so some Uber drivers may avoid pick up there. Though I never had an issue getting an Uber- just be prepared for a 10 minute wait.

The high ceiling and spacious bathroom. A beautiful historic property with impeccable service. Both the breakfast and dinner were very good.

We had a beautiful room overlooking the square with two big windows with a big bathroom. We were able to check in a little early with no problem. We enjoyed the roof terrace and the views of Quito and had a drink there in the evening and also had a very nice meal at the restaurant at night. The breakfast was excellent, it was a buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold foods. It had a separate menu for specially cooked breakfasts. The staff were helpful and accomodating and it was a great location in the historic area which felt very safe.

I wasn't touched well enough by the restaurant at the hotel It's far from fine dining in my opinion Maybe I choose the wrong dishes 🤷‍♂️

The only issue was that the bath water leaked onto the bathroom floor from under the side panel. Due to only staying there for one night it wasn’t a big deal. The separate shower was perfect.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff. Perfect location in the centre of historic Quito - great for exploring and seeing all the sites. Wished we could have stayed for longer. The room exceeded my expectations. I could only see a ‘twin’ room available but on arrival was given a king bed room instead. We had the garden room which was absolutely beautiful overlooking the stunning courtyard.

the tasting menu was a bit disappointing. Not at the level of my expectation.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, well equipped, decorated with taste. The service was discreet and perfect. Hotel ideally located. Will be back for sure! the breakfast was very nice and the service was perfect. The barmen were great. The concierge very helpful. The security men and doormen were very welcoming and very professional.

Breakfast’s choice could be improved to match the level of the hotel: I’d give it a 3.5/5 while the hotel is definitely a 5/5. Also, it was pretty hot in the room.

The property is marvellous. The staff is very professional, absolutely 5 star level. They have a great terrace and very nice restaurant.

both booking.com and Fabricio gonzalez from the hotel had confirmed our request for connecting rooms when we arrived they said they given all away and where only able to get rooms next to eachother very disappointing considering I requested and was confirmed by both hotel and booking.com nothing was done to compensate us we had to ge going in and out of the bedrooms which changes the whole experience when traveling with 3 small children not what we expected

the room facing the plaza is by far over priced (double the price of a room facing the patio) one cannot open a window because of the noise and pollution
