EVERYTHING - Comfortable beds with fire place turned on by staff, good steady wifi, beautiful view, the menu wasn’t massive but everything was delicious (let staff know your order and time you’d want to eat), kind and accommodating staff that was easy to contact via WhatsApp or the front desk, great variety of activities you can pick once at the hotel and AMAZING tour guides for certain activities - specifically Gabriel on the Cotopaxi Day Hike he was so incredibly kind and helpful (wear a jacket or poncho, gloves, hat, and hiking shoes + coca mints help - can get dusty and cold so go prepared but there is a store before you go in if you forgot anything)

Beautful property with an incredible view of Cotopaxi. It felt like a home away from home. Well appointed, clean, comfortable, tastefully designed rooms. Attentive and courteous staff. Lovely onsite restaurant.

Beautiful, serene and with spectacular views

I would have given this a perfect 5/5 or 10/10 rating but the wifi signal and speed there is ABYSMAL. They just need to fix that and this place would be top tier.

the setting is really beautiful with amazing views of Cotopaxi. The breakfast was amazing and overall the food was very good.

The wooden stove is really cosy but the rooms get cold quite quickly if you dont keep the fire going overnight.

Beautiful property with beautiful views. The rooms are lovely and we all loved the ponchos that were supplied for use. We also appreciated having all meals available at the lodge, which were yummy:)

The staff were a bit hands off during our stay. For example, when sitting in the lounge area, no one ever checked on us to see if we needed anything, or if we wanted the fire lit. We had to seek out staff frequently, which makes you feel like a bit of a nuisance.

Wonderful experience, we got to see the Cotopaxi early in the morning and we were able to horse ride in the National Park. The staff was amazing and food was spectacular. The only downside was our horse ride guide, Rafael, who was very disrespectful and inattentive.

We loved it here! So peaceful and beautiful. The property was cozy and comfortable. The fireplaces in the room were sufficient in staying warm all night. The kitchen staff were super friendly and the food was pretty good. The desk manager oddly didn’t give us a tour of the property even though we watched him do it with every other guest checking in. He also told us there weren’t any kids ponchos but immediately after one of the kitchen ladies brought us one. Not sure why he said that or why he treated us differently? Overall we had a great stay though.

Loved the location and the view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the wood stove kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The dinner and breakfast foods were very good. The rooms were clean and cozy.

For all meals the food was good but we could have used more food for breakfast. We were in a family room/suite. Each of the two bedrooms were fine but it would've been better to have a larger and more comfortable shared living room. We couldn't really spend time together in the hotel room as a family.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Excursions booked through hotel were well organized. Beautiful countryside and views of volcano (when not cloudy). Raul our guide for the full day Cotopaxi day trip was amazing! He knew all about the ecosystem and wildlife, and was the perfect amount of engaged but also let us have our own experience. Lennon at the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful, he made our stay very pleasant.

There was no fan in the bathroom, so it got very wet from condensation even with window open. Room got quite cold, there is a fire place that they will light for you but once it burns out you have to stoke yourself. There was no instruction on this so we didn’t feel comfortable doing it ourselves.

Stunning lodge at the foot of Cotopaxi volcano. We had the most special stay here - the front desk is very helpful with tours, guides, transfers. The food is exceptionally good - all home made and delicious with excellent service. Hot drinks available all day, which is needed at this altitude. We enjoyed the BBQ and marshmallows around the fire at sunset. There are woodburners in the rooms, hot water bottles in the beds and log fires in the snug areas of the lodge. A totally unique and special experience - the best in our 3 months in Latin America. The volcano climb and tours are highly recommended with their superb, knowledgeable guides.

The food could use a little more flavor. It was quite bland

Rooms and location were great and service was solid.

Meals were underwhelming. The food was just fine in taste, portions were fairly small, and price was pretty high for Ecuador.

Our stay was awesome. Location so near to Cotopaxi is extraordinary and the estate is a beauty, they even have a small local on-site hike. Cannot say anything bad about our stay.
