Absolutely everything in this place is amazing. The place itself is beautiful. They are so helpful and incredibly nice. It’s very clean. The shower is warm. The fireplace and the chill area are amazing. The food is tasty and really made with love and they take care of any allergies you might have. Basically if you have any wishes they organise it. We made two tours organised by them and both were great. There is water, tea and shampoo for free. There are enough towels and they really think of all the details.

We had the best time in Cuscungo! The hostel is very nice and gave us a family vibe. They offered nice tours with friendly guides. The food is amazing and the view even better! The staff is so kind and helpfull. This was our favorite hostel so far in Ecuador!

The hostel was absolutely amazing! You could see Cotopaxi from the common area if the weather was nice. The hostel helped me book a horseback riding tour, which was so beautiful and an amazing experience. The breakfast had a variety of fruits, bread and eggs. I also had dinner there, it was such great value for the money and a great place to meet other people while enjoying a delicious meal. I can highly recommend this hostel, I will definitely come back here. Thank you so much for the awesome and friendly hospitality!!:)

It does get cold during night, a small heater would be a nice solution in emergancy.

The hostel is comfortably located close to the main highway. Free water provided on daily basis, clean rooms, also some shared space on the first floor where other travelers can be easily approached. The staff is very attentive and friendly :)

Everything! This lodge is the only place to stay if you’re coming to Cotopaxi. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The meals were fantastic, the fire place is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the hot water is hot, the location is easy to get to via local buses from Quito, the day tour to Cotopaxi is great and affordable and the property is quiet. It ticks every box!

I really do NOT recommend the tour to the glacier at Cotopaxi. The tour guide couldn’t speak a word of English, and the weather that day was so bad that the path to the glacier was closed, preventing us from walking the full route. Also, the tour was way shorter than advertised. We wished they had informed us better.

The staff was really lovely. They even drove us from/to the bus stop, and gave us an upgrade for the room. The breakfast included is good (eggs, bread, fruits, yogurt & granola, and tea or coffee), and they offer dinner ($7,50) and a lunchbox ($?) if needed. There is also a ping pong table, cards and books.

There is absolutely nothing we dislike about this place. It was all great.

The place is located near the mountains, very quiet and clean. The rooms are comfortable and the food is great. It is a perfect location to go to cotopaxi national park. My friend and I loved everything in this hostel. It is so cute and rhetorical facilities are great.

The lodge is fantastic and the staff provide an excellent level of service. Great value for the money. The common area is very nice and guests are consistently wonderful people. I also enjoyed the communal dinner. The staff will set you up with locally guided tours to Cotopaxi and local mountain guides for surrounding peaks (I highly recommend Javier and Jaime).

Javier was a super host! He made a great breakfast and 3 course dinner, was very friendly and went above and beyond with advice for different treks as he used to be a guide. Also, he would help with anything you need. We were a bit cold at night so he gave us a heater and a large blanket. The location is really close to the main highway so it's easy to get to and to go on day trips but you're far away enough in nature that you don't realize it. They have a nice kitchen and a nice common area with a fireplace. There wearnt many people so it's quieter, which for me was nice to have a small group vibe.

You had to be lucky to get a warm shower. There are several mangy dogs roaming the property. The staff do what they can, but it's still a sorry sight...

The young man who ran the place during our stay was exceptionel good at his job - friendly, accommodating and always busy keeping the house nice and the customers happy. Great location close to the Cotopaxi National park entrance. Comfortable heated room. The whole place was clean, neat and tidy. Fireplace in the common area helps create an cozy atmosphere in the evenings. The tour to Cotopaxi organised by the hostel is really good and if you are 3 people or more, it's the same price as you pay at the park - and the price even include lunch at a restaurant after the hike. The parking area isn't gated, but with the rural location it still feels secure.
