The bathroom was not that clean (shower walls were dirty) and there was evidence of water damage/active roof leak in our room. The hot water in the shower was very finicky and hard to get right (common in Galapagos anywhere you go) but at least it did get hot. Space was relatively small and cramped, especially in the bathroom with nowhere to set down your things or hang up your towel to dry.

The breakfast was lovely each morning out on the terrace. Our room (#12) was quiet at night and the beds were comfortable, linens seemed clean enough. The staff helped us book a taxi to see the highlands area and also allowed us to stash our bags at the hostal before the afternoon ferry. The front area where you can hang out has nice flair and some hammocks as well as a hose to rinse sandy feet and snorkel gear. Internet worked well. This place is nothing fancy but it was a great place to stay for a couple of nights of sightseeing.

Breakfast staff began work at 6am. Every morning they were playing music so it was impossible to sleep beyond 6 if you are a light sleeper.

The room was comfortable and very clean. The shower was warm with good pressure. Great location, located half way between playa Mann and the town.

Had to pay by cash, luckily we had left enough. The aircon was switching on and off constantly the first night but then got fixed.

Beautifully decorated entrance. Big hostel with many rooms. Had a top floor room and had nice views whilst having breakfast from the port and sunsets. The room is very big, with air con and plenty of space. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was super nice and fulfilling!

Shower temps were intermittent, breakfast does not accommodate day tours, and the locals have a fiesta every night until about 0500. They don’t stop partying until the roosters crow

Small thinks could be improved, for example: add some lines to hang the towels, towels didn't feel very clean.

The location is great, couple of minutes from the port and close to other activities. The first day we arrived, we had water problem (first there was no hot water, then it was very difficult to regulate it), but then the owner called a technician and it was fixed for the rest of our stay. The breakfast was different every day and was ok. For the rooms on the third floor the breakfast is served on the terrace with a great sea view.

The shower was either extremely (almost boiling) hot or cold, it was impossible to have a proper shower. We said this to the manager and he didn’t seem to care.. Our room was not cleaned, on day 3 we asked for it to be cleaned (bin was over flowing and dirty towels).. to then be told by the manager there’s no cleaning Sundays.. he eventually got us some new towels. On check out the manager didn’t even ask how our stay was or apologise for the above

Great location in San Cristobal. We had a large clean room on the top floor so you had a view of the sea and could see some seals. The women who served breakfast were lovely.

I couldn't get the AC settings to change (wanted to turn the fan to low, and no swing) so I couldn't sleep with it on.

Looks freshly painted throughout, nice and clean. The outdoor area is super cute and comfy. Breakfast was great - eggs, toasted buns, jam, fruit, fresh juice, and coffee! AC. Balcony. Reliable WiFi. Hot shower. There's also a shortcut to playa de oro, just walk left and cross the dry canal.

The breakfast coffee served there is quite bland and lacks of robust, aromatic qualities one wourld expect from freshly brewed coffee, especially Ecuador produces very good coffee.

The location of this accommodation is excellent. It is situated near the port and the main street, with the nearby beaches being just a 10-20 minute walk away. The breakfast provided is satisfactory, meeting the basic needs of guests. The host speaks good English and is very helpful and friendly, making for a pleasant stay. The room is basic but very clean, providing a comfortable and well-maintained space for guests. The property's garden is beautifully maintained, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.

Location: a bit out of the center of town, but it's a small town. The double bed was a true double, not a queen. The kitchen is right next to rooms 7&8 and it was noisy as soon as the team started cooking breakfast. The hostel does not take credit cards, but the owner was willing to let me use a credit card at a nearby dive shop, with the typical 12% surcharge.

Breakfast was filling: pancakes with syrup and a fried egg, plus juice and coffee. Very clean, good AC and wifi. Facilities in a common kitchen for guests who want to cook their own meals.

Beds were a bit hard for me and there are NO kitchen facilities. Another guest got in trouble for using the kitchen and when she pointed out that the listing says they have a kitchen she was told that it's of date so if you want to cook don't stay here.

Nice place, decent facilities, very nice breakfast which justifies the cost. Lovely outside courtyard area and with communal dining for breakfast. Like many places English was was limited but good enough to get by. Good location, only a few short blocks from shops and restaurants and there's a market and a bakery close by.

Our first room was a small and stinky room without window. But we could change the room after one night and get an upgrade free of charge. Thanks!

We stayed there for 8 nights. The hostal is calm, with hot water showers and a nice oceon view from the common balkony. The room was friendly and clean. The orner of the hostal is very helpfull. We booked some trips about the hostal and he gives us many tips what to see at the island. It was a nice stay.

I think the hotel would benefit from starting the breakfast earlier so that people who have tours booked can still enjoy the food

In general is ok, but too small rooms with uncomfortable beds. Too noisy, you can hear every sound in your room. Small bathroom with weak water pressure in the shower.

Nice hostel, close to the city center! Hot water and air conditioner worked properly. The owner gave us good suggestions about the activities the on island and the dive center.
