I know that staying at a hostal doesn’t guarantee quiet, but this was a bit much. A man sat outside our window in the hostal courtyard and very loudly played his music on his phone. I looked outside and actually noticed that one of our windows didn’t close all the way, so my mom and I could hear everything very clearly. Kind of a security thing/the man was very annoying, but otherwise the hostal was perfect.

The hostal is really nice, and the rooms are spacious. We were able to keep our bags at the hostal while we walked around Quito with no extra charge.

I confirmed I had balcony rooms in the garden area of the hotel, and the reservation confirmed that, but when the desk clerk took me to check in, one was already occupied, so there must have been some confusion amongst the staff and/or a previous guest, because the log-book showed that I was supposed to have that room. It was 2am at the time, so for the price no harm no foul to just take another room. I could have used another blanket on my bed but not bad: once i grabbed blankets from the additional bed in my room it was more than enough. Picky-snickey: I like much stronger coffee, but again for the price its hard to beat.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. I stayed here years ago when a friend worked here, under different ownership, and the hostal has since been remodeled with more rooms. Breakfast is good: bread, jam, eggs (cooked as you like), juice, fruit. Cute garden with plants, picnic table, hummingbirds. Theres a grill if you want to buy charcoal and cook on it. Kitchen for cooking (I didn't use it) and fridge to store food (i did us that). Excellent wifi signal. Great long-lasting hot water for shower. Great price!

Could hear music / noise in the room at night from the bars/clubs in the area - but maybe depends on which room you get. Room needs some maintenance (e.g. broken window and secondary door lock). Room was not very clean upon arrival, and there's no daily cleaning

The hotel in general was charming and its facilities simple but nice. There's a garden and outdoor seating areas with humming birds every morning which is very peaceful and contrasts with the hotel's surroundings.There's a nice indoor lounge if you need to work. The breakfast is simple but good and plenty and is prepared fresh by the Staff. Staff was also helpful, arranged driver to airport which was cheaper than Uber/taxi.

Hostal didnt have my booking on arrival which created quite the delay late at night after a full day of travel. I had to ask for basic things like towels, blankets ect.

The staff are very friendly and attentive to the guests needs. This is a very cute hostel and I reccomend for anyone who doesn't mind being out of the main tourist districts.

the room was very damp - like all our stuff ended up damp from just being in the room and towels etc wouldn’t dry no one was ever really at reception, had to be buzzed into the building, it felt slightly unsafe to be standing outside waiting around at night booking said breakfast was included but there was no breakfast

Do Not Trust when booking via Booking.com. We arrived late at night to find that the property had already sold our reserved room (double with balcony). We were offered an inferior room with no window for a higher price than we booked through Booking.com. This left us in a difficult position as the streets in this part of Quito are not the safest at night. We decided to stay at another property nearby instead. The woman was not helpful and didn’t seem to care about our safety.

This place was amazing me and my girlfriend absolutely loved it it was such a nice nice atmosphere! IT had a fully equipped kitchen! Had a lovely little garden with hummingbirds the staff were really helpful and intentive! Rooms were comfortable clean and spacious and nice hot water for a shower 😊 highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Quito! 😊😊

Guests need to buzz the door to enter the property. Unfortunately the speaker for the buzzer was right outside our room so we were woken a few times during the night.

The room was absolutely nothing like the pictures. The pictures show a beautiful and big room. The room we got was alright, if we knew we were getting that we would have been alright. The pictures are not real though The fact that we got a sad looking, worn out room was not nice. All the nice rooms were given to the people that paid more, we think. The TV didn't work, the channels were all blurry and the WiFi in the room was the worst part. We had to go to the co-working space to be able to use the WiFi. We paid very cheap but I would not stay here again. In another area in Quito we paid the same but we got a TV with Netflix and strong excellent WiFi. Booking must remove the credit card payment option. They do not accept credit cards, only cash

Excellent value and location. The bathroom was huge. We paid around 25 dollars a night for a private room, which was an excellent deal. But I think we got the short end of the stick because we paid so cheap.

To start with for the 3 nights stay i was never offered the breskfast. Noone cleaned the room December nights are bit cold and mist, but no chance to get radiator. Some basic things at the room are missing - i.e you have no place to put a towel in bathroom. Lock in my room was always puzzle. The whole place have to be renovated Moreover, weekend nights you are anable to sleep as there are dozens of night clubs next street.

Locación overall Is good. The building itself Is nice with great patio, two kitchens. Garage. You Cook for yourself. Pricing Is fair. Hot water.
