It is a lovely place with lagoon view to see flamingos. Spacious room to hold a big family. Olga and Melina are super nice. Olga gave us a welcome breakfast upon arrival and Melina helped out on booking day tour and getting taxi for us.

United StatesFor a fraction of the price of a fancy hotel, La Flamecos provides the most (if not more) than most of the other hotels on Isabsla. First, amazing location almost surroundded by a picteresque lagoon beloved by flamingoes. My room overlooked the lagoon and I woke up every morning to the magic sight and sound of flamingoes beginning their day and "quarelling" over their territory or the food, or some other flamingo business. The hostal is 1 block away from a beautiful beach (you could hear the waves from the room, but could see them only from balcony outside), restaurants, and tour agencies. It is 5 minutes car ride to the ferry and Concha de Perla, and 10 min walk to the tortoise breeding center. Further down there is a Wall of Tears hike too. Second, on an island with no pavement I had a reliable endless HOT shower in the room! Asking around, even people who shelled out top dollar for beachfront hotels had lukewarm shower. Third, clean bed and room with refrigerator, a/c, balcony to hang the swimsuits, and a proper mosquito net. I tended to use little a/c, but kept my windows open and did not get bitten once. If there were minor annoyances (tiny sink, little ants, dirty spot on the wall, etc.), I just dealt with it, because I could not possibly expect more than I got for the price I paid. And finally - amazing, warm, welcoming staff. Melina and Olga were always there if I needed ANYTHING. Extra blanket, beach towel, advice on tours, taxis, anything I wanted and at any time of the day. By the end of my stay it really felt like being part of their family. Thank you for a wonderful stay and magic memories of Isabela!

EcuadorHostal Los Flamencos provided affordable accommodation and excellent hospitality for the budget-friendly traveller! The room was very clean, comfortable, and included all of the basic amenities for our group of three. After a day of hiking and nature exploration we were surprised by the generous fresh fruit or refreshing juice left in our room. Dawn and dusk visits to the immediately adjacent pond to view the flamingos and shorebirds was an absolute delight. The family owner-operators were very kind to let us fill our water bottles (rather than require the purchase/use of single-use plastic bottles) from their personal supply. Thank you very much for your thoughtful hospitality! We would 110% stay again!

I was sick and she even took care of me with food and water. The place is very cleaned. With the family you can have an authentical experience. Isabela was for me the best island I visited in Galapagos. The room is big and bed very confi.

I really enjoyed my room here. It was big and clean with nice tile floors. I liked that there was a table and lots of space to put my belongings. Also liked that there was a mini fridge. The shower was excellent! Really good pressure, one of the best showers I had in the Galapagos!

United KingdomOlga, the host was so lovely! I was boiling when I arrived and she poured me a coconut water. Every time I went in to refill my water she would give me something different. Jelly, an orange, lemon juice. I wish I could have spoken more Spanish to talk to her properly. I think my room was upgraded to a room with a view of the flamingo lake. This was incredible to wake up to in the morning. The bed was hige, the room very clean. Honestly such a beautiful place.

South KoreaOverall I liked everything. Regarding cleaning, everyone’s standard differs and some corners of the room or the top surface of the water filter was dusty, could be cleaned.
I liked the hospitality of the family. They were always friendly and trying to make me feel comfortable. I arrived at the island in the early morning and the owner offered a breakfast. It was a simple sandwich with coffee but delicious! There were free fruits in my room too. I appreciated it. The room was cleaned every day! Great value! Also ask the owner for tours and she will recommend a trustworthy agency. I did two tours with them and they were great.

United KingdomProperty was dirty and in desperate need of moderisation. The fridge was filthy inside and out and also froze everything. Floor was dirty. Door handles covered in rust. Beds had dirty cushions on.
Location was ideal and the lady helped us organise a taxi to the ferry port. Toilet was broken on arrival which was dealt with quickly. Air con!

The air conditioner worked great and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean and we liked having a fridge in our room. We were able to use the hammock area as well as a reception/living room which was nice. We also enjoyed the early check in time and welcome breakfast.
