THe ONLY negative was have is bar/restaurant that is open from Wednesday to Saturday. Our first nights were quiet and restful and when the bar opened the noise kept us up later than we intended. Nothing dangerous, just noisier.

The place is GREAT, but the people were EXCEPTIONAL. Paola, Manuel and Francisco were the best hosts: Friendly, attentive, generous but un-intrusive. They made all of our stay fantastic and really can’t be praised enough. The Hostal itself is charming, perfectly located 10 seconds from the beach (just cross the road) and, with its walled courtyard, kind of an oasis. The communal kitchen is open-air and a great place to hang out in the hammocks. We had two rooms that were both great but with different vibes: the room with en-suite bathroom had great natural light and was really beautiful. The other room had a second bed in a loft space up a ladder. Our 7 year old was beyond thrilled and didn’t want to leave. The entire place is clean and well-maintained.

Almost on the beach, was able to watch the sunset. Got upgraded to a better room. Staff was kind enough to go and get me a bottle of wine. Recommended where to get good dinner

It's a wood house, which is authentic, but lack of any sound isolating. All noises from street and neighbours are in your ears. For my first night, a kind but loud family stayed with two children in the next door, so I had a beautiful wake up at 5:50AM. The staff did the best to change the room. And one more thing: tha place could be much better with some more maintenance. Common kitchen is dirty, fridge is also,, there is a "bar" but no choice, restaurant offer just pizza on demand etc. It's a place with amazing conditions, there is a chance do do it better. The first step can be a basic english knowledge for the staff, because many of guests dont speak spanish. They have a time for it as I saw, there are free and useful learning applications.... 20 sentences, and 100 words can make the guests happy, believe me!

Nice place in at the best spot on the beach of Canoa, close to everything. The common areas and rooms are stylish with views to the ocean and garden. Staff is kind and helpful, and there is a common kitchen and fridge for your foods.

Dogs barking through the night as well as the morning noise from the streets. All should be expected in this location of town.

Plenty of privacy in our room as well as lounging areas. Community access to an outdoor kitchen as well as refrigerator. The fan in our room was a very nice addition. The weather was very hot and humid and this fan made the night very comfortable.

there were mosquito nets over the bed but they were way too short so all the mosquitos came inside and stung us in the night

has a lot of hammocks where you can chill in, there is an outdoor shower and you have a kitchen outside where you can cook. the staff was really nice and helped us with a lot of thinks like the busses.

Casa Olmito is directly in front of the beach, there are hammocks in different floors so youll enjoy the view 100% The stuff is super polite and always attentive for any matter. The rooms are very cleamd and the veds really comfortable. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will stay there again the next time!

It's a really nice place. It has a garden with hammocks and two outside kitchens. The staff was super friendly and helped me with any questions. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Advice: take some cash with you. You can't pay with creditcard there and Canoa has no ATM.

The common bathrooms downstairs could be cleaner.

I had the best time at this beautiful place. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Balcony has ocean view. You can use the kitchen and water is for free. People are really helpful and nice.

The only separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom is the curtain, so the bathroom floor gets wet after you shower. Also, not the hotel's fault and probably a common issue in Canoa, but the street behind the hotel was a bit noisy, with several dogs barking and trucks passing by regularly.

Lovely structure right next to the beach. The room (we got a free upgrade to a 3-person room) was spacious and the shower had hot water. There are hammocks in the shared areas, as well as a kitchen and fridge that are free to use. The hotel manager was always available and very kind. We were also able to book surf lessons directly at the hotel. Great price/quality.

the shared bathrooms are really not clean. they may have to renovate them. also the shared kitchen was super dirty. the room was a little small. we didn’t have enough place for our small backpacks.
