Bit noisy from road and surroundings (not from the hostal itself).

A little bit up the hill, which gets you a quieter stay (especially on weekends). Comfortable bed, beautiful garden, family run and extremely helpful with any information you may need (son speaks multiple languages -English, French, Russian, as well as Spanish).

Staying at the house was a blast ! The staff is amazing ! They are very helpful from the moment you check in: offering you options of activities, a view of the area on the map etc. Saolo speaks perfect English, French and a bit of German. The room was great: clean and confortable. Kitchen and dining area available. Common spaces spotless and nicely decorated.

The location is ideal: convenient to everything in Baños but just outside the noisiest, busiest area. The gardens are lovely, there is a decently equipped kitchen and the entire property is clean and comfortable. Most importantly, the owners, especially their son Saulo, are fantastic hosts. You couldn’t ask for a more kind, thoughtful, helpful and all-around-nice person than Saulo. Also, he’s quite fluent in several languages (at least English and French, as well as his native Spanish).

At this price point, absolutely nothing.

Great location, comfy room, hot showers and the staff are so kind and polite. Explained what the city had to offer in great detail. Always asked if I needed anything. They also provide laundry service which is a bonus. I would recommend this place whole heartedly!

The location is a bit off the town centre, so it's quieter. It's walkable from the bus terminal. The hostel is really a three storey house changed into a hostel. Inside there are wide comfortable stairs that lead to various rooms. As it was the off season (rainy), I had the dorm (4 beds) to myself with attached bathroom, large and spacious, very clean. The kitchen is well arranged and kept in good condition. The only thing not up to standard usage is the lack of sockets near beds (at least in the female dorm). Charging the phone is nowadays an essential necessity, especially at night. There is no one traveller without a phone, and having one in function is a modern dependency. There may be plenty of outlets in the sitting and kitchen areas, but having one next to the bed where a person is sleeping has become an important thing, there is a sense of security when one's phone is nearby, charging. That's the only reason for not giving a 10.

Nice balcony, windows open for fresh air. WiFi worked ok. bathroom was clean, location was great. Hosts were very friendly & helpful. Hot water worked. Payment in cash only, exact change given.

Everything was perfect

The hostel is very nice and organised, the rooms are big and comfortable and the shower is hot and water comes with good pressure. We did the 1 day jungle tour through them, they offered the best price in whole Baños and the tour was amazing, highly recommend. They also let you know about everything there is to do and help you with whatever you need.

There are quite strict rules regarding everything so might bother some people. The kitchen is small so if the hostel has a lot of guests, it will be impossible to use it when you want. Also the kitchen is fully locked at 10pm so if you need anything from the fridge after that (like cold water), it won’t be possible. Also we extended the stay with 1 night and were told we will get it with cheaper price but ended up paying the same as for all the nights..
