That staff wasn't at the front desk when checking out, so we had an unpaid bill. However, we were able to stop by after our trip to the Amazon to settle the bill.

Convenient location in Coca to join tours heading down the Napo river to the Amazon. The included breakfast was simple but good.

We stayed here one night before heading down the Napo river and into the Amazon. It was convenient to the river and boats, and it was fun to see how much of the town's life takes place in the central square. The air-conditioning in the room worked well and helped two people from the far north cope with the heat and humidity.

Breakfast is a nice bonus. Not far from the airport or bus. Across from a park surrounded by shops 2 blocks from the riverfront. Refrigerator also a plus for budget travelers

Being by the park it was also a little loud in the area, not great if anyone is trying to sleep later.

Location right on the Central Park was easy, good breakfast options and strong AC helped with the heat after coming from the sierra.

Central location! Very accommodating staff. Good WiFi and air-conditioned! I was up a few levels - I don't recall seeing a lift, might be difficult for those with mobility issues.

The bathroom and shower floor is very slippery when wet. A non-slip bath mat needs to be provided and a floor towel for stepping out of the shower.

Our room was good-sized, clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. B[reakfast was great too.

Because the room was upstairs and overlooked the park, it was quite noisy at times. It's also in the center of the business district with vendors starting around 7AM. Even the man with the machine who was blowing the leaves off the sidewalk started around 7:30 AM. Some vendors would just sit on the street in front of the hotel playing their recorded message to attract customers in the park. Sometimes for 10-15 minutes. I understand that the hotel is limited to what they can do about this but I wanted to communicate that issue. One thing that they could do something about is the mildew on the grout in the shower

It was very comfortable. The hot water in the shower and the A/C worked great. The location was fantastic (with the exception noted later). Very close to many stores and restaurants and shopping. There was a big park across the street and the malecon & pier were a 5-minute walk

Unfortunately there was a lot of street noise due to the location. Breakfast just ok.

Great location in front of the plaza and all the shops, banks, laundry... Room was big. Breakfast was included. Nice and helpful staff. Good place for a short stay over.

The windows have a gap between them which means you hear the noise from the street as if they were open and it also increases the danger of mosquitos coming inside, I hope they will fix that.

Great location. El Coca is a pretty unsafe town but this Hostal is close to the pier and the boulevard which are considered the safest parts of town and I also needed to leave from the pier the next day. Breakfast is included which I didn't expect so that was nice.

There was some noice from the street, which was quite disturbing. We could only pay cash when we checked out, even if it should be possible to pay by card.

Lots of space in the room, very friendly staff, good breakfast, central location.
