Hostal Villamil's hosts are an original couple from the island itself, greatly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Its location is central, nearby plaza, plenty of restaurants, close to beach and lagoon with flamingos.

Everything was great.

Walking distance to beach and restaurant area. Very cheap.

Not clean - floor hasn't been swept or mopped in a while, cobwebs and grime in bathroom Very rundown The owners were always there watching what you were doing

Very affordable, hot water, air conditioner, friendly and helpful staff.

It was not very clean, just OK. And installations need some renovation.

Super welcoming family, spacious room, colored walls with a nice picture which made it look really nice, super close to the beach and the food court and so on. Free drinking water.

That the window goes towards the inner yard, hence not much privacy if the curtains are open. Cleanliness could improve but I think that is pretty common for the island. (Toilet and dust)

Good location in the centre. Quiet. It was a big room with a big comfy bed. The owners were friendly.

The WiFi was terrible.

Great location — truly can’t beat it! And for the price, it was an absolute steal. The owner was lovely and made the experience feel welcoming and personal.

That said, some parts of the room were a bit outdated. But honestly, for what’s available on Isabela, it’s pretty solid overall. I’d recommend it to a friend looking for a good-value, well-located stay.

The most amazing hostel! Such a nice family! Great rooms! Always clean and tidy.

The hot water in the shower was more of a drizzle than a shower but we managed to make it work.

The location was convenient and the air conditioner worked great!

Nice location, close to the beach and the flamingo lagoon. Large room. The host doesn’t speak English but are very sweet. Could use the their kitchen (although it is not like a shared kitchen for the guests,but more like borrowing the kitchen of host’ house type of feeling. Good Wi-Fi which I heard it is not common in this island

Quite basic and a bit aged facilities, cleanness can be improved

The location, the bed, the hosts (the sweetest granny and grandpa vibes), the wifi, the cat, the shower, etc. all were exceptional. So happy I stayed here for almost a week!

Family run businesses! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to everything + beaches and flamingo pond

Everything about the property was great! They have water to refill water bottles, and friendly cat that you might see once in a while, and the owners were extremely friendly! The room was nice and big with a huge comfortable bed and a private bathroom!

I had everything I needed for a few days by the beach, and it was also really close to the beach.

Location was fantastic and entrance was on ground floor. Hot and cold water were instant from a machine

Neighbors dog barking. But it was not always, and nothing that the owners can do anything about.

Not included but the very gracious hosts spoiled me offering fresh fruits

Not a complaint but more plants in the common area
