The family hosting is wonderful, all of them very nice. It felt like home. They helped me to organise my trips. Central location, close to main attractions and public transport. Excellent breakfast included. Good value for money. I definitely would repeat.

Saul and his family went above and beyond to provide us with an excellent service. The room was clean and we felt like being an extended family. We sincerely recommend this hostel and will certainly return if we ever come back to Banos.

This is a hotel owned by a family. It is a wife and husband with 2 children and they are all so kind and welcoming. The husband does more of the tour guides while the wife will be at the hotel. They offer breakfast which is really nice. Is on the top floor and once you are ready for breakfast they will cook it for you. It was egg, fruit, bread, jam, butter, and coffee/tea. They have a laundry which the wife will do for you for about $5 USD for an average size load and can increase based on your load size. We rented bikes with them for about $10 USD per person so we can see some waterfalls and that was really nice. The husband can guide you through the waterfalls for an extra fee or if you want to go on your own he will show you what route to take. This hotel is not located right on the busy area but the busy area is about a 5 minute walk. The room was really nice and a good size.

Nothing, everything was exactly as I expected and needed

Staff was super friendly, recommended attractions, offered tours and gave me advice about the area. The breakfast was beautiful, cosy environment and local goods. Would definitely recommend for the value! The view from my (single) room was stunning and the location is ideal for a short walk to the centre with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants around.

I loved this Hostal. The family who runs it is amazing and makes you feel like home. The rooms are very comfortable and you can easily organize tours directly with them. It is very close to the center of banos but the location is nice and quiet. It has a beautiful rooftop to hang out with a nice view to the mountains. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The beds were a bit hard for our liking but the rooms had great storage.

Saul was amazing! He was very helpful in getting us all organized. Breakfast was very good with fresh coffee and a nice rooftop to eat at. The location was very good as well being only a few blocks from the center of town. The hostel is set back from the main road so it is quiet. We enjoyed the artwork and plants. It was a great stay! Thank you!

The bathroom was a bit underwhelming, the hot water was not working properly and went from burning hot to cold within few seconds, multiple times during a shower.

Location was very good, walkable within the bus station. Breakfast was good as well. Saul was helpful. Good value for money.

The staff is very polite, thanks to Carolina and the man I forgot the name of. There's a very cute and friendly dog Max. They have a water dispenser that you can refill your bottle for free. They allowed me to enter my room before the scheduled check-in, without asking for money.

The location was perfect for exploring Banos. Breakfast on the roof terrace was very good. Bed very comfortable and shower hot. Saul was very pleasant and helpful. He arranged a great trip for us to Las Cascadas.

The rooftop room needs some work, thermal insulation etc. The other rooms are okay.

Saul is a great host and so is his family. The rooftop room was a bit cold and noisy but I've been offered another one. Great breakfast. Central location.

In 3 years of traveling, this was one of my best stays. The room was comfortable and clean. Good location. Good breakfast. Baños is beautiful. But what set this place above others was the staff. Samuel runs the place with a lot of attention to the guests. He has a beautiful family. It felt like home.
