The location is simply amazing. You wake up to the sounds of hundreds of birds, in a lush cloud forest. You will see all sorts of insects, plants and even small mammals. The host is extremely helpful and attentive. Always responsive. And the domes are quite comfortable (our bed was HUGE!)

The distance to the centre of Mindo - it was a long walk. You can ring for a taxi but ideally I would want to be nearer the main town.

Being right in the middle of the forest. The view was incredible. It was so quiet and private. Giovanny was also extremely helpful.

The VIEW from a KING size bed was just amazing. The host messages you via WhatsApp and you can ask him anything. Very nice set up and relaxing with the birds in the trees. The place was very clean (some mould in bathroom though). We really felt like we were the only ones in the cloud forest and at night you can walk around to see the fireflies. As you are in the middle of the jungle, it is hard to get in and out of town however the accommodation recommend our own taxi driver who took us everywhere we needed. Even out to dinner and then home again and was really cheap. Highly recommended

Not much!

Amazing location! The glamp really makes you feel like you're in the forest, because you are! Getting to the room is a bit adventurous, as Giovanny offered to drive us from town in his 4X4 because the road is quite rough. Getting back to town require a special taxi, which is only $3 and Giovanny arranged as well. Our room was the highest one on the side of a hill, so getting there requires a 5 min hike with your luggage on a dirt/rock track that gets a bit slippery when wet, which it usually is. Room was spacious if a bit rustic, you're in the forest afterall, but there's actually a functional kitchen if you want to stay for a few days. Everything you need is there, and the view is breathtaking. There are even bird feeders next to the glamp that birds frequent!

The location is a touch further from town, about a 30min walk each way which was part of the appeal but can be a bit of an inconvenience. Maybe bicycles could be provided? The room can get quite warm in the day even with the fan provided. However, that shouldn’t be a problem if you’re spending time out and about/sitting on the deck.

Such a unique property! Nestled in the middle of what feels like a forest, the views out of the dome are just gorgeous, all around you, birds, butterflies, fireflies and even capybaras appear. The kitchen was very helpful and the open deck was a perfect spot to sit and observe the hummingbirds that appear to feed. Giovanni, the owner, was the warmest and nicest person who made our stay super comfortable.

Unfortunately the electricity was cut in whole Mindo, so we partially didn't have electricity, but that was independent of the accommodation. The path to the accommodation is not so good in some parts, but fortunately the way is not too long to reach the place. A taxi during the day was 3$ one way.

The surrounding nature was great. Great view from the bed. Very quiet and relaxing. you can see colibries very close on the terrace, and in the night you can watch fireflies from your bed.

We loved this option for our 5 year old's first "Camping" trip. The location is beautiful- out in the middle of nature with butterflies, humming birds and fireflies all around. There is a very nice short 15 minute hike to a waterfall that we enjoyed. And Giovanni was a really amazing host.

It was a bit difficult to find as there was no signage and Google maps was a bit off.

It’s gorgeous!! The view was just spectacular and it had everything we needed to be self-sufficient for a few days. Nature surrounds you and you can walk to a waterfall and most attractions, or it’s a quick taxi ride into town.

The owner didn’t know we were coming and we had no directions on how to get in our room. We were lucky enough to bump into him in one of the rooms while looking around. The shower is very low and has weak pressure.

The rooms are amazing, the bed is the best bed we’ve had in Ecuador. There are so many birds and butterflies. The kitchenette is useful. Really a solid glamping in the middle of the cloud forest experience.

Magic elf glamping is one of the best experiences I have had (birds, fireflies, forest walks). The room is spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. Giovanny was kind and generous and made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

The area is absolutely beautiful and the host is incredibly helpful. The location is a little way out of town but Giovanny will send the location or arrange to send a taxi. The domes are very secluded and nicely arranged. Make sure to take some water with you as, although some water is provided, the water from the tap isn't potable. A fan would be nice as the dome can get a little hot during the day- although that's when you can lie outside. The area has a stream running by it and also there's a short walk to a nearby waterfall.

required a taxi that either knew how to get there or had all wheel drive, bumpy dirt road. luckily the host was amazing and gave us contact info for taxis that knew the route. the taxi cost a bit more due to how far and challenging it is to get to ($3-4 a ride). hot tip: breakfast delivery was via motorbike and much cheaper ($1-2)

Main king bed was excellent, but futon for 3rd person was terribly uncomfortable. Very long walk from town, so you’ll need a car or driver who is willing to go up there. Shower with electric heater was very low pressure so it’s hard to get all the river dirt out of your hair. Minor stuff, but makes a difference if you are the type that wants luxury.

When closing the windows, be careful. FIRMLY HOLD ONTO THE CENTER OF THE EXTENDED PIECE BEFORE YOU RELEASE THE LATCH. Gravity will do it's job as soon as the latch is released so watch your fingers. Also, recommend leaving the windows open during the day. It's a beautiful sauna in the day, especially if the sun if fully out. I didn't mind the warmth, just didn't expect it. It quite relaxing actually -- good for stretching/yoga.

This is a magical and special place. The owner, Giovanny, was tremendously attentive and I wish him much success. The property is magnificent if you love gardens and hummingbirds. It's hard to capture just how wonderful and lux, in a hidden kinda way, this place is. If you want to disconnect, restore and recharge, this is a wonderful place to do it -- there is internet and Netflix if you must stay connected ;) Highly recommend muscling the courage or easing into the river for a full body dip.

There was nothing that I disliked, the property had everything we needed and wanted to relax.

Amazing rooms, with unique views, perfect for a couples retreat/romantic nature getaway. The river pool is 3 minutes away from the property and the waterfall is a very cool and natural 20 minutes trekking away. Hummingbirds right in front of the little deck terrace!

The host waited for us even though we were late and it was pouring rain, we appreciated that. The glamping is amazing located, neat, cosy We also loved the fact that we could ordered pizza (Super good and tasty), beer, water and even breakfast delivered to our glamping!!

The only thing that could improve this amazing lodging is to have heated showers. But it was 400% worth it anyways.

This place was incredible. The facilities for such a remote and magical location were amazing. The host was so gracious and pleasant...he saw us dining on our last day and stopped to say goodbye to us. Truly one of the best places I've ever stayed at by far!!!
