Secure building, very discrete from the outside. The interior was beautiful and well taken care of. The breakfast was delicious. Attentive and friendly staff. Location is close to everything but far enough to have privacy.

New and excellent hotel! It is a clean and comfortable suite, nice and equipped kitchen. We paid our staying with credit card without problem, because in Mindo the cash machine didn't work. The hotel is just two blocks from the center in a quite place. The staff very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and variety. The garage is free.

This place is beautiful, but very expensive for Mindo. With all the fees it was close to $120 USD per night. We were only there a few days. The shower only ever got warm, not hot, and the wifi was either not working or working very slow. We could not use it for work, which for the price we would expect better hot water access and working internet.

This is a nice new property in a great location within walking distance of everything in central Mindo. It's very new and clean and the courtyard and lounge were lovely. The bed is super big and very comfortable. The kitchen was clean and nice and had the basic cooking tools we needed to make a few meals.

The pool is not so comfortable, is not kid friendly and the room had a sofa bed in the living room but you curtains so the light from the hotel was impossible sleep

You are not given a key to the outer door. You are reliant on the staff to get into the property every time. They were always there, but you felt bad about buzzing them so many times.

The rooms were fresh and modern. Everything you needed was there including a kitchen for self catering. Mindo is lovely and everything is in walking distance. The staff are very attentive and helpful.

My friend and I had an incredible experience. We booked very last minute (9pm the night before) and had no issues. Ronny was so responsive and kind, answering all of our questions promptly and making sure we had everything we need. Our room (including a fridge with filtered water!) was massive, modern, and clean. Everything we could have wanted. It was also so close to everything we wanted to do, making it easy to get around. Breakfast and massages on the terrace were incredibly easy to schedule, well priced, and just wonderful. Can't recommend this place enough!

Toucan Platinum Suites Aparthotel is your best bet if you re travelling with your family and need kitchen/laundry amenities in Mindo. It is very calm and right-by all of Mindo´s attractions. Our host Ronny was very helpful and friendly and gave us many tips on things to do in the area as well as help organize for local tours.

We liked everything!

Everything! It’s a beautiful room, in a great location. It’s only a 5 minute walk into town and you can get taxis anywhere you want to go. It’s so peaceful, and Ronny (the man who runs the hotel) is so friendly and helpful! We stayed for 5 nights and would have loved to stay longer! If you’re in doubt, go ahead and book it. You won’t be sorry!

Nothing, we loved this property and would definitely stay here again. But a few small suggestions for the owners would be to provide a kettle, as well as the coffee maker, for the apartment, as we both prefer tea. Also, there is only one toaster for allvthe apartments to use, (which Ronny kindly lent us when it was available.) Perhaps a few more cooking utensils would also come in handy as well, for those guests who are self-catering.

Lovely, large and modern apartment, which was spotlessly clean, in an excellent, quiet location near Mindo town centre. It is in a safe and secure complex, looked after by the manager Ronny, who was really lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he was always around to let us in or out, including for our early morning starts for bird watching trips at 5am! We had the "family apartment with balcony" which provided a relaxing private sitting area, overlooking the peaceful inner courtyard, which has a small pool. The apartment also had a kitchen with a 4 gas burners, a microwave oven and large fridge freezer, as well as flatware, and a few cooking pans and utensils. The kitchen was very handy for us to prepare meals, although the complex does offer breakfasts to purchase. In Mindo, there is a mini-market 5 minutes walk from the hotel which sells a good range of food and alcohol, and many other shops as well.

It was perfect!

This is a beautiful property. It looks and feels like an oasis. It is very safe. Very nice suite. Comfortable beds. Most importantly, the staff was amazing!!
