The kitchen was shared with the owners family which was absolutely fine but just made bit slightly more limited as to when you can cook etc! But great cooking materials.

Amazing location, really clean and well kept, the rooms were basic but perfect if you’re going to be out and about. Comfy beds and great wifi.

Everything was fine and close walking distance to town.

Very well equipped kitchen with toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Everything we needed in the shared kitchen with only 1 other room. Some of the time we had it to ourselves. Private room and bathroom very adequate. Maria, the host, helped us get a taxi that took us up to the highlands attractions instead of going through a tour company that would be more expensive to visit those areas.

We had to lk across the owners living room to access our rooms. I suggest they build a separation wall for privacy both for the owners and the guests

Bit of a walk to the main town area with restaurants and shops but there are a couple of bakeries and supermarkets not too far away. Unfortunately the in-room kitchen has nowhere to store food that the ants can't get into.

Staff were very friendly and responsive on WhatsApp. Room was comfortable, showers were hot and air con was excellent. The kitchenette was really useful to keep costs down with the odd meal in.

No, everything is fine

Close to airport 10 mins by walk. Love the room with Air-conditioner which saves our live in the scorching afternoon. Clean room and bathroom with hot shower. Proper kitchen shared with hosts and free water provided. Friendly hosts.

I was missing a chair in the room to sit on and not on the clean bed sheets. Shared kitchen belongs to the owning family so you might feel a bit like intruder, though they're very nice and polite.

Walking distance from the Airport and also close to the malecón and ferries, but away from the evening noises. Room was very clean, with AC, the owner was helpful in case of questions.

The WiFi basically didn't work in my room but it's the Galapagos and I didn't miss it much.

Don't let the weird entrance confuse you (I was at first!), this is a great value Hostal, very clean, with A/C and an incredibly nice and helpful hostess, would definitely visit again. While it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the center, it's very close to the airport (5 minutes with full backpack and all), so if you fly in and/or out of San Cristobal, I especially recommend staying here. A lavanderia and a mini-market are less than 5 minutes walking distance away.

The wifi wasn't actually working, but then again: there is not a single wifi that actually works in the Galapagos.

Basic but good accomodation near the center of the island, Casa de Alexis offers simple but comfortable sleep. The bed was okay, the shower worked and there wasn't even much noise from the street.

No complaints really, everything was as I hoped for. Internet was bad, but that is quite common on Galapagos.

Free usage of snorkel gear! Otherwise the place was very clean, well located next to the airport (7min walk) and not far from Loberia, one of the better beaches for snorkelling. Also appreciated the flexibility of the host when I changed my plans last minute.

Don't believe what you see in the pictures! The room for three people was absolutely small! Only 3 beds with no space even for the suitcases, no wardrobe, no normal window! With the white walls it seems more like a prison cell 🥺
