in the room there was a shower the water in the shower were flowing very slowly and most important NOT HOT. the staf tried to convince that it is OK and when we unsust - after one day there was an improve but not enough. and they told us to wait with the shower on for 15 min till water will come hot (still was not hot) so was wuth the firelace. one of the staf did it great and the other day - came one who did not know how to put fire on and he had to com the same evenning three times for this. it is not expected fom such an expensive hotel!!!

The room we had was very nice but the lighting was not that good. some additional lamps in the room and a couple of electric heaters would have made the room more comfortable . while the restaurant staff and spa staff were very attentive there did not seem to be en ought help at times.

The breakfast was very good and the view from the dining area was beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The spa area is beautiful. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well taken care of.

The town of Baños is ~30 min walk away, so you can opt to take a taxi. Other than that, the stay was very comfortable.

The property and grounds were beautiful and serene. My sister came down with a bad cold, and the front desk organized medicine delivery for her from a local pharmacy, which was very helpful. The spa was quite nice and relaxing, and the breakfast was incredible. The room was spacious and very cozy.

There was nothing I didn't like only a suggestion: The comforter / quilt was of feathers which both of us are allergic to and unfortunately there was no alternative available, only blankets that didn't fit the bed. A comforter / quilt made of an alternative filling would have been greatly appreciated.

The hotel was previously a monastery so it has charm and atmosphere. Set in a landscaped park the location is perfect, you leave the busy street behind and don't notice that it's there. There is always a welcome drink available with or without alcohol, whenever you arrive at the hotel. Our large room with a jacuzzi bath was away from the main hotel set in a stone built building, nestling in the gardens, it was very clean with everything that you needed. The staff are correct and friendly yet they make you feel right at home, almost as if you are part of the family. The buffet breakfast at the weekends was superb, during the week you can order off the breakfast menu. The free laundry is worth a mention, it was a great help for us travelers and greatly appreciated.

completely outdated hardware, bathrooms appear to be some 40 or more years old. Owner needs to urgently invest in the property. staff was very nice and helpful as everywhere in Ecuador

Dead and alive flies everywhere in the restaurant. I got a hair on my eggs. It literally takes 25-30 min to get hot water in the shower. I booked a room and ended up staying in another one. According to them an “upgrade” HORRIBLE experience. I’ll never come back!!

The estate grounds are huge and beautiful. Lots of fruit trees too. The spa services were good and fairly priced. The breakfast was yummy and varied. A short cab ride to town but worth it for the gorgeous gardens.

The staff cater to your every need and go above and beyond for Comfort . My husband and son got sick while we were at the property and staff brought us breakfast to the room without us asking . This is a gorgeous property. The staff are very attentive and are quick to help with every need. The fresh cut flowers everywhere are stunning. The spa is beautiful, refreshing, and restorative. The food at the restaurant is also excellent. The location made it easy to get to town, head out to see waterfalls, and be picked up for tours.

The restaurant menu was limited but the food was good.

gardens were beautiful! Bed was super comfortable and the staff and service were exceptional! The best part of my experience was transfer from Quito airport with the driver, Iban Burbano, that the hotel arranged for me. Not only did I do my airport transfer with him but a full day tour of Banos and surrounding area. he is very knowledgeable about the area and history and timed our tour to avoid crowds. We went hiking, swimming under waterfalls and even got in a bungee jump or two. It really was one of the most memorable days. Iban is great book him if you can!

nothing. we loved it!

our room was beautiful with an awesome wood burning fireplace! The spa area was great and the massage and facial was excellent. We did two nights here and 1 at another property that was know for their thermal baths and this was half the cost and SO much nicer!The value of the room far exceeds the other hotel.
