Good location, liked the cafe it’s associated with. Room was quite small as the bed takes up almost the whole room, and it was quite loud at night.

There was some miscommunication around our booking and the agreed amount, but we eventually sort it out and were happy with the result

We had the top room iguana with a beautiful view over the city and the beach. Jeanneth and the staff are very helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend to stay here

I didn't like breakfast so much.

I had the room on the 3rd floor which I really enjoyed. It was light and airy with a view of palm trees and you could see the water between some buildings. They were very helpful with tours which were all very good. It is in a good location.

Amazing service. Yosue and his mother and super supporting, helping with tours, and even getting us a babysitter when we we’re discussing a tour! Amazing! Breakfast also good, location fantastic.

Shower was pretty lacklustre. We also thought we were in the top room with ‘views of the flamingos’ however we’re not. We are not sure if this was our booking issue or we were issued a different room. The room was pretty noisy to the street with a rooster singing allllll night and dogs barking.

First Room we didnt Like it was on the ground floor just with a Window to the staircase. Shower didnt get hot. We Change the second night (paid more) for a nicer Room. However cleaniness in kitchen area and If you looked too Close- Should be improved. Mold in the bathroom Price is too high for what it is in comparison with other accomodations.

Do not book tours with the hotel. They charge 10 US comission in every tour.

The pillows were very light, our heads were basically on the mattress. The bathroom was very tight, there were no soap, no shampoo and no place to hang the towels. The second room we booked for our children was on the bottom and has no window.

The room on the top was excellent, the wind was circulating, we didn't use the AC, it has a very nice view. The bed was large and comfortable. They cleaned the room every day. The staff was helpful.

The location and room were good, but be warned about the “flat-screen TV” – it’s only 14 inches and mounts high on the wall, making it virtually useless. However, my main issue was with the owner's attitude. While brushing my teeth, I accidentally bumped into the bathroom shelf with my hand. The glass shelf was poorly secured on that side, with a loose, corroded screw, which detached from the wall, and the shelf fell and broke. The owner insisted that we pay $20 for the damage. If the shelf had been properly fixed, it wouldn't have budged

The Sun Island is centrally located in town. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.

The room was dirty & the bed was really uncomfortable. The staff did not care at all. I asked them for help with taxi reservations or ferry ticket purchase & they told me rudely that it’s not their business!
