Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaThey said I must pay 2 euro to park my bicycle inside the building. I think this is greedy. So I declined and parked it outside. Their cheapest room comes without any access to a shower or bath. Not even shared. I find this very unusual.
The view. Decent sized room.

FinlandPayment by cash only. The reception did not utter a single word during our interactions, even when tried speaking Russian. The rooms are not sound proof so sensitive sleepers should bring ear plugs.
If you need a roof on top your head, this place is totally fine. The room I stayed in was clean and warm, very basic. The signs are mostly in Estonian and Russian so if you can understand either of these languages, then you can navigate.

EstoniaThe matresses were bad, so I used the 2nd beds blanket to cover the metal springs, and slept very well. Reception also did not speak English, which made it more difficult to communucate.
Decent for the money. The only issue is payment- you need to either pay via Estonian bank transfer/smartID or in cash. They have a kitchen to cook meals (oven), and a water cooker, as well as cutlery and kitchen items. Loo was inside the room.

EstoniaThe hostel, despite being a small facility, employs people to work 24/7. Weirdly enough, they also make the workers clean the place during the night. I was surprised to hear mopping/cleaning/garbage bag noise behind my door starting from 11pm, which is legally quiet time. Since the doors are made of cardboard, I could here every step. I was really tired and tried to fall asleep but did not manage until at 1am I went out of my room to talk to the cleaner. They did not understand a word of Estonian and seemed to be confused that somebody's sleep could be compromised by them deep cleaning the corridor in the middle of the night. After that it was luckily quiet. What is more, when I came to the hostel in the evening, I was yelled at by the administrator, who had given me my room key less than eight hours prior: "Who are you and where are you going? Do you work here?". Never in my life have I been treated this way in any facility.

RomaniaReceptionist only speaking russian and also the check in gave an overall impression of old soviet times. Friendly but not easy-going! They charge extra for the shower which I didn't expect. Better to add it to the price than charge after ! It's definitely a minus for me !
The rooms are clean and have enough space. Comfortable beds.

FinlandThe receptionist spoke only in Russian even though she was quite friendly. The payment had to be made with a bank account transfer (which was okay and smooth).
A walking distance from the centre, good price. The common kitchen had spacious refrigerator/freezer systems.

EstoniaWiFi on the first floor was terrible, but second day was in the second floor and it seemed to be much fair.
The location is perfect near the Pergi Kuskus mall, which makes it easier to access. And the Reception lady was amazing and helped me settle in the hostel. On your left there is a park good for relaxing and enjoying nature.

LatviaWe have to pay extra and went over budget because for the shower we have to pay 5€ at a time and it says it’s shared but have to pay , no one speak English on the administration team and refused to use google translate when we are tried to use it , even though we need shower without paying extra so we requested to upgrade our rooms but they only upgrade 1 room but it cost us 36 euros more for just 1 room . Really bad administration team , didn’t even update my booking with the booking process , I had to report the issue to booking to confirm the booking . Apart from that , they don’t have contactless payments they have cash and bank transfers . Any of our banks didn’t support their bank , as an example I have Swiss bank and swed bank , even wise and metropolitan bank accounts , nothing worked with their bank account
It was clean and cozy

The building looks like a block of flats but the hostel is very decent inside. The room was big and very clean, more than I had expected from a hostel. The staff was very friendly and hospitable.

United KingdomStaff only speak Russian, some are more helpful than others, some refused to use Google translate and communication was very difficult. I had booked a room with private bathroom but on arrival was taken to a room with a toilet and no shower and had to pay extra to get a room with a toilet and shower, which took a long time to communicate, in the end I just paid the extra fee to save any more hassle. They would only accept cash and wouldn't allow me to pay by card, so had to walk to find an ATM. Checking in took over an hour so beware.
There was still availability at short notice, probably because people didn't want to stay there unless they had to.

It truly is the best hotel ever for this price! In 2 years of hotels you truly get more 'then you pay'. Absolutely 'under qualified' (actually deserves 5 stars) Its very safe and easy with card systems so no keys!
