I did feel the need for a small bedside table to place items like a phone. The shared facilities were downstairs while the room was upstairs, which made it a bit awkward to run back and forth for water or to wash hands. IMPORTANT: the host does not understand English, and she also doesn’t pick up the phone.

The shower had hot water and the place was quiet. The bed was cozy and didn’t squeak. The room had a mirror, and the window could be opened or darkened with night curtains. Everything was clean. There was an option to order breakfast for an extra fee that I hadn’t noticed before. A grocery store was within walking distance. The car could be left by the property on the side of the road. Also, there was a lovely cat around.

You will need to bring your own towel as they are not provided. One bed in my room had a LOT of hair on it that was not mine....no problem, I just slept on the other bed. Maybe it was because I booked the room so late. Regardless it shouldn't have been there.

Good value and very gracious host who let me check in very late at night after a long drive. Perfect if you're looking for the basics.

The host is a bit rough and friendly at the same time. Sounds like she likes a company to talk, but she liked to interrupt, before I could complete a thought. There is no bathtub, there is a common shower for my room, even though it looked like there is a private bathtub. The host said that she has no control over the private bathtub and she stated that it's a booking issue. In the description she does say that the bathroom is shared. My room didn't have a lock inside to give some privacy.

It's close to the center and Tartu university. It was clean. The host has an interesting character.

The host was very kind and gave me advices about the places what to see, and also helped with information how to easier get from Narva to Tartu. My room, kitchen and toilet was sparkling clean. The place itself is in a quiet and green place, in a shot walking distance from Tartu center.

Stayed in room in mainfloor (King) that was not suitable for traveling w dogs, owner has a cat that doesn't like dogs. All rooms have carpeted floors. Shared kitchen, toilet and shower with owner. Small private fridge, but outside room. No kettle inside room.

The room didn’t have a lock, which caused some concern since other people might also be staying in the house.

We liked the distance of the accommodation from the city - it’s ideal for walking to the city center and tourist attractions. It’s a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. We chose it because we are active vacationers, so accommodation is just for sleeping and taking a shower. Everything necessary was available in the house, including washing facilities, etc. We got our own key, which allowed us to move around freely and come and go whenever we wanted.

When I arrived, the host insisted that I could pay only via cash or bank transfer. The listing didn't say this, so I hadn't travelled with cash, or a card I could use to withdraw it, and I don't have access to the transfer service she wanted to use. I ended up leaving and taking the train back to Tallinn for the night, as she was either unwilling or unable to have me pay via card/online/an alternative transfer app.

Paper-thin walls, the room was directly over the family kitchen so you could hear every word, no bathroom on the second floor and the staircase was steep and slippery.
