The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the soft mattress. Just a small inconvenience – as I understood, bathrooms are usually private for each room, but in our case, it was shared between two guest rooms.

The rooms were clean, with fresh towels and filtered water provided. Breakfast was amazing – fresh local food and a delicious omelette. The surrounding scenery was beautiful, with cows and horses passing by in the evening. The overall vibe was lovely, and the place was nicely decorated.

With higher price comes higher expectations, some were met but quite a few were not. For example the singular beach chair outside the room had mildew spots on it and I did not feel comfortable sitting on it and did not get a premium feel. The lack of physical signage everywhere made us feel confused when trying to either find reception or during breakfast time.

The manor area has been utilised quite well and offers some nice leisurely walking around. We were able to secure a room upgrade (for additional cost) even though according to booking they were sold out. The beds in the upgraded room were very comfortable and the room lighting was probably the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The breakfast tasted great!

There is no air conditioning in the room, it is very hot. Thick winter blanket. The water from the tap smells like mud.

Breakfast was ok, not much options to choose. Only egg or pancakes. Very quiet and peaceful place.

We recommend Pilguse Residency highly! Amazing landscapes, nice views, super friendly staff and the service was top notch. Can’t commend this place highly enough! The food was delicious as were the drinks. When we arrived, we asked if the igloo sauna was available and we bathed there on the same night. The sauna and the spring nearby were both fantastic

The water in the bathroom didn't sunk, as it seems that the tap was totally stuck. Breakfast was great, but we has slightly higher expectations and everything else was so nice.

Fantastic location in the nature, very quiet and private. We gad a great weather, sunny and no wind. Nice walk to the waterline and recommend to try smoke sauna. Great experience. Dining room was also very nice and food&wine good. Good size bed and very comfy linen and pillows/blankets.

Pilguse Residency is a large estate with facilities spread across several buildings. During my visit in July, I stayed in a small cabin with wonderful views over the field and towards the lake. The cabin was tastefully designed and furnished and made for a very comfortable couple of nights. The shower facilities in the main compound were luxurious, as was the restaurant, with excellent breakfasts and evening meals. Staff were kind, attentive and helpful.

The interior of the residence is amazing! Better than you imagine from photos here, staff are really friendly and smiling, food in restaurant🔥 and in many places if the breakfast is included in the menu than it supposed to be something not so good, but Pilguse breakfast 🥞🤌 Will definitely come again!

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated but clearly bathrooms and floors have been renovated years ago and were not quite as stylish or new. Also the loft in the family room got very warm as we had warm weather (no air conditioning, just fans). Still not a major issue for us.

Gorgeous location and surrounding nature. Very tranquil. Extremely stylish decor. Great food. We rented the iglo sauna which was just magic with dips in the natural cold spring right beside it. Loved everything about this place.

The property is a dream vacation spot, especially when coming from big cities. Perfect for those who love to wander around in nature and see animals. Every detail is thought through and the interior design was very idyllic! And hosts are the exceptionally sweet people. We really enjoyed our stay with kids there. We felt like children are very welcome there and also they really enjoyd staying there! Definitely will come back for longer ❤️

Dinner didn´t meet the expectations from this kind of place. It was basic good food but was expecting quality restaurant dinner. Fresh and good ingredients which had much more potential that was utilized by the chef.

We definitely would give 10 stars however with such price we could expect little bit more: - check in process - guests feel lost. There is no info where is reception desk. Service staff were walking around us but they didn't ask about anything. We felt confused. - no info about additional prices - ex. for sauna - we didn't find such info on booking and also in hotel. We were also not informed about the price during booking sauna. It's embarrassing to ask every time for prices... - air condition in rooms should be as an standard on this level.

Amazing place - both outside and inside. Very clean rooms, delicious dishes. Perfect place to spend time with your partner, family. Finally we received bigger room that we booked.

Didn’t like the brown water and almost non existent water pressure in our room (mentioned this to staff). Room floor was quite cold and couldn’t adjust room temperature. No trash bins around the complex (also mentioned this to staff). Breakfast was average, only warm dish were eggs and one sort of porridge. Restaurant was cozy, although food nothing special. Only protein option between pork and fish, no beef or chicken dishes on the menu and also no option for children. Two types of pastas and non of them with protein. Waiting time too long. Definitely not worth White Guide recommendation. Hard to understand where exactly was reception and who works there. No signs no nothing. When I did check out, young man told me I have to go to restaurant. He was very down talkative and unfriendly. Not worth the price they’re asking at stage. Complex not completely ready to public and staff untrained. Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone!

I did like the place and the location. And in my room I would say, that also bed was quite comfortable. I would like to mention that one of waitress (Jaanika) was very friendly and knew her job very well.
