The owner makes the atmosphere of this place. He finds a time to talk with every of his guests, reccomends the best places to visit. Our kids were amazed by his stories. The location is wonderful, we saw a wonderfull sunset, with mist falling on the meadows. In the pond, children had fun feeding the carp. The room was clean, smelled nice ad fresh. Everything was perfect.

Very quiet and perfectly situated for the National Park. Our genial host gave us lots of good tips about the area.

Breakfast was normal. Pond was nice to have and use but with somewhat scary hungry fish. Riisa nature trail was sufficiently nearby.

Booked AFAIK a room with three single beds, got a room with one single and one 1.5-person bed (we paid on spot to replace it with two twin rooms). No cupboards or shelves but there were some hooks, no mosquito nets on windows. Room door could not be locked neither from outside nor inside, curtain did not cover view from outside into bed. Although there were no grocery stores nor restaurants nearby, the guesthouse had neither dinner nor a guest kitchen (could get access to breakfast kitchen for separate fee).

Best location to stay in region Soomaa for watching wildlife and birding. Reivu gave some amazing tips and fun information about the region. The breakfast was also perfect with homemade items.

Good location for people who want to see Soomaa National Park.

I think this place can be nice for family or couple but for alone traveler - I don't think so. There are not other houses in the area and the room doors has no lock (at least in my room). And in addition, the doors open from the outside so

Very nice location to explore Sooma. The place is quiet and beautifully located. It has a Sauna and a pond to bathe in, and there is a kitchen for common use. The cat and dog companions are always a bonus!

The place is rather isolated. Nearest town is 4km away and everything closes early. In our case that wasn't a problem, but some may have issue, as no dinner is served at the house. Rooms don't have locks (ours didn't at least), which was not a problem as we were pretty much alone, but with a full house it may be requested by some people.
