How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewBaron Palace Sahl Hasheesh is truly a breathtaking hotel. The buildings are elegant and luxurious, and the whole place is kept spotlessly clean. The view of the sea and the infinity pool is simply out of this world. The service from the staff was excellent throughout the stay, always smiling and ready to help. I would like to give a special thanks to the Reception team, especially Mr. Michael and Mr. Samuel,they upgraded our room to a beautiful sea view, arranged a late check-out, and even prepared a meal for us to take on our departure. Thank you, Mr. Michael, for the warm welcome and outstanding service — you truly made our stay unforgettable.

Verified reviewI had an absolutely perfect stay ! Everything was outstanding — the pools were amazing, the restaurants offered delicious food, and the bars had a great variety of drinks. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were always friendly and attentive, making the experience unforgettable. The reception team was exceptional, especially Michael and Samwaeil , who were extremely helpful, professional, and always welcomed us with warm smiles. Truly a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to come back!

Verified reviewWe recently stayed at Baron Palace, and while there are definitely positives, there are also a few areas where our experience fell short. On the positive side, the buildings are excellent and very clean, and the natural scenery around the hotel is truly beautiful — we really enjoyed the environment.
The food experience was below our expectations. There was very limited variety, and unfortunately, both I and my family suffered from stomach issues throughout our stay. This had a significant impact on our overall experience. Additionally, we found that the prices of items inside the hotel are extremely high for Egyptians. Additionally, the night activities are so limited and not enough specially there is nothing you can do around the hotel for kids amusement.

Verified reviewEverything thing about the hotel is just superb 👌 , check in was fast , staff are pleasurable, very friendly. The entrance is really encouraging 👏 and decorations ,furniture are royal , going in style with the hotel . From there everything is very fulfilling, satisfactory: the rooms are spacious ,clean, beds very comfortable, room is full with all we needed and replenished daily .restaurants are every where with a wide variety of food & cuisines and drinks , staff is so nice , the food & drinks quality is awesome . The beech is great , pools are numerous, very clean and relaxing . The gym & spa are very nice , staff is really professional. It a really unforgettable vacation, we will sure come back again. ❤️

From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional — the architecture is breathtaking, the service was flawless, and every detail was thoughtfully curated. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The rooms were spacious and beautifully maintained, and the staff were always attentive and welcoming. Truly a perfect blend of luxury, history and hospitality. Can’t wait to return!" Also many thanks to Mr. Samuel for his care... I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to relax in a luxurious setting!"
That said, I did feel the evening ambiance could be livelier — there were limited shows or entertainment options at night. Also, the shisha was quite pricey at €25, and the hotel’s location, while peaceful, required a ride (like Uber) to reach downtown areas.

Verified reviewOverall, a very large, beautiful and clean hotel with wonderful and caring staff! Our special thanks go to Mr. Mohammad (not entirely sure about the name – the night shift manager during our arrival) and to Mr. Ibrahim, who kindly allowed us both an early check-in and a late check-out, as well as giving us excellent advice about transportation and activities in the area. We also thank Mr. Ahmad for his very helpful recommendations, especially regarding activities and transportation within Cairo. All the staff were exceptionally kind and supportive — shokran kteer! The room was nice, clean and spacious.
Although the hotel offers a huge variety of food, the quality was unfortunately not as good as expected, and one of us even got sick.

The Red Sea is so amazing .. the food is soo delicious and had a lot of varieties of different cuisines and the top thing there is the staff and their great hospitality.. I was offered a sea view room without asking .. check out process was so smooth and I found them preparing three lunch boxes for my family also without asking .. it was a real excellent experience that I’m looking forward to repeat.
