Price through booking is higher than price direct with hotel arround 10% / person, try to change room but the manager refused due to not available and his excuse this room for booking member,room position close to the elevator,my room was sea side view not sea view as per my booking.

Bathroom needs to be upgraded. Shower door stuck. Beach umbrellas need to be separated during crowded seasons to avoid everyone sitting so close to one another.

Excellent helpful staff. Special thanks to Chefs Lotfi, Mohamed, Nader, Hossam and Chef Mostafa for his lovely smile. Excellent food, Good location. Special services for the elderly and handicapped. They even have a bar on the beach to help them get into and out of the water.

Hotel was old and didn't provide basic equipment such as hair dryer and kettle for tea etc. It was quite expensive but didn't match with service.

Location was very good. We enjoyed staying on the beach.

Hotel and facilities are old but in good conditions, a "refurbishment" of some areas would be good but it is also nice this "vintage" environment

Extremely loud music playing 24 hours a day, either from the hotel or the tourist boats nearby. Zero noise insulation so it is impossible to sleep. The water inside the bay is polluted from the amount of motorboats, especially in high season. Some staff members are rude. Proper beach attire is not enforced and some people are swimming in regular clothing.

Clean rooms with all expected amenities. Food is actually good (was a bit worried from other reviews), central location, and free night entertainment.

A number of things were quite extremely disappointing: 1- The bedding was so stiff and extremely uncomfortable and does not fit the price tag of the room. I asked for a mattress topper to be able to sleep and only got a fiber duvet which was still uncomfortable. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable and too too old. 2- I was in the 4th floor, the elevator kept breaking down and being super late. Which was relatively ok until my day of departure that I took my luggage to downstairs using the stairs. 3- I was extremely disappointed that the wooden resturant by the sea got demolished which was a landmark in the hotel and was chic and beautiful. The open restaurant to eat in Belle Vue in was super noisy, not chic, extremely out of place and was giving vibes of regular hotels that Beau site regular customers do not go to 4- The lunch options of sandwiches and pizzas was disastrous, cheap quality of food, toppings and very bad choice and taste with lots of sauces in sandwiches. 5- Reception team was not very helpful to two requests getting a car to tour matrouh early morning and getting a car to Cairo as I had to go earlier than planned. As a long term establishment in Matrouh, I expected a more cooperative team and trying to find solutions instead of we do not know any cars or you can only be picked up @11 pm instead of morning 6- This is not the hotel fault but a major drawback to consider going to Beau site during peak season; the amount of boats passing through the bay in front of the hotel putting so much loud music since 5 am and all day which was a great mood killer and was unable to sleep before 11 pm also because of the parties in the hotel so a lot of and a lot of noise which was not the case all the past years.

As a long customer of Beau site since 1990, I was happy to see that almost everything was intact. The sea is still gorgeous, the staff friendly and helpful and the food quality was overall good. The hotel still has this nostalgic feel and is maintaining a relatively good pool of customers and returners. The view from the single room view to the sea was great!!

The room was very tiny. No furniture at all the internet was week. The guy who cleaned the room wam impolite heralded my daughter

All of the family members had bad diarrhea I had also vomiting and I was dehydrated The food was the cause of our sickness
