mohamed and staff were super helpful and friendly. organised trips and services with no problem to help me in my request room was great and roof top deck pyramids straight ahead perfect

was a trouble to find via taxi and even locals struggled to find. part of a housing block. but on top floor do had to use old lift to go up and down

This hotel has the very best views of the pyramids! It's set on the 14th floor of a building so the vista is superior - far better than the rooftops in front of the pyramids. Mohammed, Bilal, Ibrahim and the rest of the team were amazing hosts. They made us feel so welcome and helped us with every tiny question or problem. There was no hidden agenda, they were just happy to host us. There was a delicious breakfast cooked to order in the mornings. 1000% recommend Dar!

The property is clean, wide room with amazing pyramids view. Is close to the pyramids site / saqqara / new Egyptian museum. The staff is really kind and will organize transfers and various activities if desired. Totally recommend 👍

Terrible Experience – Do Not Book! The location is horrible — no drivers know where it is, and it’s extremely inconvenient to get around. This hotel is completely overrated for the $80 price tag. Breakfast is served only at 9 AM, which is very inconvenient for guests who want an early start. One staff member arranged a driver to take us to the pyramids (only 5 km away) for $50 — an outrageous price for such a short trip. Everything here feels like a scam. Save your money and avoid this place!

Great service with a very friendly staff

The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are very clean and modern. The air conditioners work really well and it’s not located in the heart of tourist Cairo so you don’t have people heckling you for wares the second you step out of your hotel. The staff were amazing! They were so accommodating to all of our needs and wanted to be sure we had the best experience both in the hotel and on our tours. The restaurant was very good and the view from the rooftop is just priceless to sit and have a drink or eat some food and relax. The owner of the hotel takes a personal interest in the satisfaction of the clients and does whatever he can to make it an awesome experience. The tour guides and drivers they hired were knowledgeable and easy to work with. They made our experience a lot of fun and stress free. Highly recommend this place!

The place is clearly marked but the entry area and elevator are not as modern as the hotel on the top floor. The rest of the building is local apartments. Also I recommend doing the camel or horse ride in the Giza pyramids park itself and not the sunset one. It’s a very different experience and you see more of local Cairo than you might wish to on the sunset ride even though the desert pictures are epic.

Incredible views of the pyramids, exceptional food and service with a very reasonable price. Ibrahim and Mohamed provided the best service I could ask for, and went above and beyond helping us to book desert tours, transfers and accomodation elsewhere. This made our entire Egypt trip seamless and worry free. I cannot recommend staying anywhere else in Cairo.

Absolutely amazing staff and recommendations. The location is top-tier. The food is excellent, with a late-night kitchen and incredible included breakfasts. Big shoutout to the staff. In-room tub was a steal.

While the immediate surroundings can be a bit intense, it's nothing out of the ordinary for places like Egypt. The view more than makes up for it.
