How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewOur stay in this Egyptian accommodation was truly incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by Abdul that made us feel at home right away. The room was clean, decorated in an egyptian style, and with a beautyful view on the pyramids. In the morning we had breakfast in the balcony just in front of the pyramids....fantastic! The location was perfect, yet quiet and with air condition ( a must in Egypt!), the bed was super comfortable, and there was even Wi-Fi connection. Moreover the host Abdul propose us a day excursion throught the pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Memphis. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Abdul is a very nice egyptian guide who learned us a lot of egyptian history and took beautiful pictures! If you're planning a trip to Egypt, this is the place to stay. 100% recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Verified reviewThe property is located close to the pyramids of Giza. I had a lovely view of the pyramids from my balcony. The rooms were very clean. Abdul and his staff were very attentive and made my stay very enjoyable. They also offer guided tours to the pyramids and many other places. The breakfasts were delicious! Abdul, the owner was especially helpful in caring for my friend who was injured on the trip. He made sure she was well looked after at the hospital! I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Verified reviewThis was a fantastic boutique hotel. The rooms were great, the view fantastic. Breakfast was a traditional breakfast and it was delicious. Abdeul and his family made us feel so special, like we were family. We had an injured person in our party and he stayed with her until she left. Such dedication to his position. I even got flowers when I arrived. So thoughtful. They went above and beyond, they even did my laundry for free.
The hotel was undergoing upgrades and the elevator was not installed so we had to walk up four flights of stairs, but they brought chairs up so we could sit and take breaks and carried our luggage up when we arrived and down when we left. Being in the middle of Giza there was a lot of road noise, but they supplied earplugs and for me that was all I needed.

The rooms are one the 5th floor and no elevator, so be prepared for some steps. It was not bad, however, and would not discourage us from staying again.

Verified reviewWe had an excellent stay. Picked up at the airport, the room was exactly as advertised, very clean, and the staff was very professional and helpful. And, of course, having breakfast on the balcony with a full view of the three great pyramids was one of the trip's highlights.
It's not a downside, but I guess it's worth mentioning to set up expectations. This hotel is a converted apartment, which is quite common apparently in Egypt. It didn't affect our stay in the slightest.

Verified reviewThis hotel is awesome. The location is also perfect as it is on the Main Street (less hecklers). Calling uber is much easier compared to small side street. This hotel is a small business which means the staff and Manager, Abdul, is very accomodating and attentive. Breakfast is also delicious and Abdul always offers fruits and drinks for us. Be aware that this hotel is on the 4th floor with no elevator however no need to worry as Abdul will help you out with the staircase. Just make sure to give him a heads up upfront. Overall, the experience was marvellous. We stayed a total of 5 nights. It’s a shame that we can only give 5 stars. They definitely deserve more. They also offer airport transfer and laundry services as well.

Verified reviewWhen I first saw the building, I was a bit worried, but once we got to our room, it exceeded all expectations. The facilities were exceptional, and the overall experience was fantastic. The owner, Mr. Abdul, and his team truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Their genuine care and hospitality were evident throughout. Mr. Abdul, in particular, was incredibly helpful—he warmly welcomed us and even dropped us off at the airport very early in the morning. Although I initially planned to book a local tour with him, I later cancelled it. Remarkably, he didn’t take it personally and instead offered invaluable advice to help us avoid tourist traps. His guidance made a significant difference and was greatly appreciated. There are local restaurants but we did not really experience them. The owner took us to a good, affordable and clean restaurant to get take-aways. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. The exceptional service and thoughtful touches will make your trip memorable.
Honestly, nothing. There is no lift but people are there to help out. Not really a big issue. There are not many local restaurants but the owner will help out to go to a proper one.

He went above and beyond professional hospitality, welcoming us as though we were family. Traveling with a baby can be challenging, but Abdul made every effort to ensure our comfort and security, creating a memorable and stress-free stay. His entire family cared for us with open hearts and thoughtful gestures. Here are some highlights of our stay: - Abdul welcomed us at the airport with a complimentary pickup and a bouquet, setting a warm tone right from the start. - The breakfasts were fantastic, and Abdul went the extra mile by customizing all our meals to meet our preferences. - His flexibility was a lifesaver, providing us with extra support and comfort during our visit, especially since we were traveling with a baby. - As a thoughtful gesture, he gifted my parents a lovely souvenir for their collection. - On a fun note, Abdul bears a striking resemblance to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, not just in looks but also in his charismatic mannerisms! Honestly, there’s nothing to dislike. If you have any issues with stairs, it’s worth noting, but Abdul and his team are more than happy to assist with your luggage, ensuring your stay remains hassle-free.

Verified reviewDiamond Pyramids View Inn is truly a gem. We have a pretty high standard for hotels and this place far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the owner, Abdul, treated us like family! When we were making our reservation, we had seen many of the same types of hotels in this area which had mixed reviews. You will not go wrong with this hotel. We were a group of two families of six each, and we used three rooms and the apartment. Each morning, we received a bountiful and delicious breakfast on our balcony, which had an incredible view of the pyramids. In fact, every room had a beautiful view of the pyramids. The pictures are 100% accurate. The breakfast is exactly like it looks in the pictures with meat, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, falafel, and bread. If you want something more, Abdul and his son Mohamed will get it. The beds were comfortable, and despite being on a noisy street, we slept very well. The hotel provided plenty of drinking water, soap, robes, and slippers. The showers had hot water and the pressure was great. They also did our laundry as a complimentary service since we were continuing on to another destination from Egypt. The family apartment was cozy and spacious and had the feel of being a guest in someone’s home in Egypt. Each night, we all gathered in their room to hang out. Despite the very low cost of this hotel, we had a 5-star experience and would highly recommend it to any traveler, and especially for families looking for a safe, clean, friendly, and affordable hotel. Abdul is a family man who will take great care of you!
This hotel was awesome and nothing would change our opinion about this being a 10 out of 10. However, nothing is perfect. Abdul plans to get an elevator installed, but until then you have to walk up several floors to get to the rooms. This elevation makes the view of the Pyramids that much more stunning. Also, the hotel is located on a busy street and Egyptians are fond of using their horns. The noise could affect light sleepers like me, but I used earplugs and slept better at Diamond Pyramids than I do at home. These are the only two things to be aware of. However, I must restate, this did not change our exceptional experience. You will not regret staying at this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that made our trip truly special. The room was clean, well-stocked, and maintained with excellent housekeeping services. The hardworking staff, led by the owner Abdul, went above and beyond, adding a personal touch to everything. They surprised us with beautiful honeymoon decorations and complimentary drinks. The balcony offered stunning views of the Pyramids, which were breathtaking, especially at sunset and sunrise. The breakfast was consistently delicious, and delivered promptly every morning with breakfast boxes provided for early morning adventures. Laundry was washed free of charge which was a great touch. Abdul’s personal dedication to his guests is unparalleled. From arranging airport pick-up and drop-off to organising guided tours every day, he ensured we felt safe, relaxed, and well taken care of during our entire stay. Verified reviewAbdul and his team were amazing. Abdul made contact with us before we travelled to ask for travel details and he personally picked us up for free. He drove us back and forth to the various locations that we visited while we were there and took us sightseeing to the Pyramids. We certainly did not expect this. We travel a fair bit but not ever experienced such first class service before, We had a whole apartment and it was clean, perfectly airconditioned, and the view of the pyramids perfect. We had a relaxing time on the balcony with a perfect view.

Verified reviewIncredible views of the pyramids. Very clean and affordable. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. The owner gave us a tour of pyramids and Cairo at an extra cost.

Verified reviewThe view is great - our balcony room had a mostly clear view of the pyramids. Beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was plentiful and had a wide spread. They put it on the balcony for you so that was very nice. Maybe including coffee or tea with it would be even better. You can make your own though in the room. The beds were comfortable, the AC was cold, and the wifi was fast. Staples for a few nights stay. The real winner for the hotel though is their resident tour guide and son. They picked us up from the airport and then drove us to the grocery store and helped us order local dinner. Completely unexpected service and the best English I've heard our entire stay in Egypt. We ended up booking a tour the next day with him and had the best guiding of our whole vacation. He went over more history than all the others before and didn't push any commissioned store visits that all our others had. Prices were great too. 100% would recommend the hotel even to just get to the tours/driver.
It is up a few flights of stairs. They will porter up your bags but make sure you are capable of climbing some stories before booking. The noise on the street below can be loud. It's ok with the balcony door closed and we didn't have a problem sleeping with the AC noise covering it up somewhat but it's not very peaceful on the balcony. There was also someone consistently pressing the doorbell button for the hotel which was clearly audible next to our room. It was going off every few minutes for what must've been hours. It might've been locals doing a prank but was testing our patience around 11pm. The upstairs staff looked pretty miserable. I couldn't tell if they were mad at us in particular or if that's just their temperament but it didn't affect their service, just made it a little awkward. We had a problem with the hot water not working and we might've been able to ask about it but we were already kind of nervous that the staff seemed annoyed at us. I'm not sure what can be done for the noise (maybe better sliding door gaskets?) or the stairs but this place is pretty new. With a little more tweaks the hotel will be even better.
