The location is great, we enjoyed the bathtub while contemplating the view of the pyramids. Our host Mohamed and all staff were great, willing to help us with anything!

No handheld showerhead only overhead shower

DouDou hotel was by far the best place we stayed during our 10 days in Egypt. The room was spacious, beds were super comfortable, and the shower room was large and clean. Everything we needed was provided. We had a direct view of the pyramids right from our window, breakfast was delicious, and enjoying it with the pyramid view was such a treat. The receptionist who speaks Chinese was helpful and friendly, if you want to avoid unpleasant surprises in Egypt, this is the one place I would truly recommend.

There is no clear sign at the entrance of the hostel, and it took us 30 minutes to find the place. We recommend that future guests contact the hostel staff in advance to ask for directions, so you don’t waste time like we did trying to find the entrance.

I highly recommend the car charter service provided by this hostel — it was the best private car experience we had during our trip to Egypt! The car was brand new, had air conditioning, and was spacious and comfortable. There were three of us riding in a 7-seater, which felt incredibly roomy. The daily charter rate was only $50, which we found to be very reasonable. The only downside was that the hostel staff guaranteed the driver could speak English, but in reality, he couldn't speak English at all, which caused some communication issues.

Hot water is a bit limited, needs to keep an eye on the hot water volume, and wait for 20-30 minutes if it’s not enough.

Good location, walking distance to the pyramids, the staff were really helpful, would help with airport transportation, luggage, bus tickets and prepare for breakfast.

Nothing- please note, you can sometimes hear noise from outside from your room, but that’s expected staying in the city.

The property is located a short walk from the pyramid entrance making the location ideal for a stay in Giza. It was clean and the staff was very attentive. Also, the breakfast was very nice and the rooftop terrace was the perfect view of the pyramids across the street. My stay was comfortable.

Not enough hot water for showering. If you come with your friends, it’s better to wait for 10 minutes after they take a shower.

Very good location. Several minutes drive to pyramids entrance. You can enjoy the view of pyramids at the balcony with your breakfast. And the breakfast is diverse and all food and drinks are free, as you can see in the picture. Not noisy during the night so you can enjoy a good sleep. Very nice staff and you can leave your luggage for them to take care of. They’re very responsible:) Though you may feel the outside is a bit shabby, the inside is very clean. I love their decoration and smell!

This hotel is really a very good hotel, safe and clean. The two front desk boys were very enthusiastic, and the balcony for breakfast had an amazing view. It's really a very good hotel.

The airport shuttle service could only paid with cash or WeChat, the sounds proof facility wasn’t that good

Quite near the pyramids, and not far from the new Grand Egyptian museum, with view of pyramids from the room window, the staffs were friendly and helpful, the airport shuttle was reliable

It was a little hard to find the hotel’s location without a sign below.

A humble little entrance that surprises you once you get to the 5th floor. The most amazing thing about Dou Dou is the impeccable views of the great Giza pyramids. The views can’t be beat from the rooms we were in and at the breakfast patio. For the price we paid, it is great value and we will stay here again. It is clean, spacious, and has a homey vibe. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Everything was great

Location was great, staff very friendly and room very clean. In particular Usama took care of us as soon as we arrived. Even thought we arrived super early in the morning, he advised us that he was able to make accommodations so that we can have the room ready immediately. That was really great!!
