Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNot owners fault but we did not feel safe. Constantly lied to outside as soon as we left hotel saying “you going wrong way, and road is closed” When it was not. Warning- Do not do ANY activities unless arranged ONLY by the owner of hotel (not staff) Owner very good with arranging activities. Security not the best with click locks on bedroom doors.
Amazing location in front of pyramids. Very clean room service available daily for a tip. Balcony at breakfast facing pyramid

United KingdomWe felt quite unsafe in Egypt (not hotel’s fault) in general. We got pounced on by local horse cart people the moment we walked anywhere who literally lied about road closure, telling us we go in wrong direction, one even saying he was with police. The Elite hotel is a good choice, but Egypt was pretty intense for us. We also used the Marriott 2 mins away for spa massage and some English meals when we felt like it. I would still recommend the hotel but we probably won’t return to Giza
Amazing location with view of pyramids out bedroom window. Clean. Owner organising great tours (do not book through anyone else for safety)

ItalyPerfect location for visiting the pyramids of Giza because the hotel is near the official ticket office of the site. Amed, the owner,i is a very nice person and helpful in organizing all kinds of visits and excursions, like the one in the desert. He provided us with an Egyptologist guide (a card-carrying official who speaks fluent Italian) named Omar, with whom we took two very interesting full-day tours. Also near the hotel, there is a good restaurant serving typical Egyptian food.

JapanTowels for mat was dirty. Reception staff in morning was rude. You should educate your staff. When we forgot to get keey and got locked out from our room, he clicked tongue and kicked out door to open. We NEVER accept that behaviour. I talked to him but he just being foolish and didn't apologize that surely ruined your hotel.
I think owner and ladies are nice. They helped us when need something. The view of pyramid is amazing.

GreeceThe location is only convenient if you go to visit the pyramids, as everything else is further away. Across the street were a couple of wild dogs who kept barking all day and all night, not letting us sleep in peace.
This small pyramid overlooking hotel is situated juat across the imposing pyramids of Giza. Our room had a lovely view of them through huge windows. Comfy beds, a mini fridge, and a decent bathroom. Anything one might need for a short stay at Giza.

United KingdomThe walls are quite thin and there was some sort of.party going on on the first night, and of course the constant Cairo traffic noise, but that's hard to avoid whenever you're staying.
The staff were extremely helpful, helping to organise pickup from the airport and even switching my room to one with a view from the pyramids which you have a fantastic view of. Ahmed then even helped me out when my plans changed and I needed to be at Cairo train station late at night. The room was very spacious, and considering the price was very well equipped. Also very close to the pyramids so perfect for any tours you want to book. Definitely happy with my choice to stay here while visiting the pyramids, I doubt you could do much better at this price.

South AfricaShower pressure needs to be looked at. Broken basin can pose a serious injury if one were to slip and fall onto it. Breakfast, but I realised it's the standard in Egypt, only had 3 hotdog rolls, 1 fried egg, yogurt and orange. I found that not filling. It could be supplemented with Macon or Oatmeal etc. The Inn is amazing. It's always clean and immaculate. I would advise anyone to book there, Keep it up Gents!
My stay was amazing, Hamid and Abdul were very helpful. Very friendly and professional. Everytime I came back they would ask me about my day and ask if there is anything they can assist with, anything, I felt like their only guest. They're very very genuine. They're authentic and warm. Keep it up gents. The Inn is next to Mobil where they have good coffee and can get essentials there and other hotels where you can enjoy lunch and dinner on. The fact that it's a 200m away from the Great is a Bonus

HungarySince it is an Islamic inn there are special roles that were unexpected for us (e.g. requests for marriage certificate), but it is understandable and acceptable. (We did not experience any disadvantage for not being Muslim.)
The building (outside) is disappointing, but the rooms are really nice and clean.

It's a very nice place with perfect view from the window. Entrance to the pyramids is in walkable distance. Also sound isolation from the street was good enough. Staff is always ready to help, communicating in english very well. We also felt safe in the area. Room condition was great - comfortable beds , AC, perfect curtains, all necessary equipment.

RussiaThere was not enough elevator in the building and it was noisy under the windows because of honking cars, but this is not a problem of the hotel
Cool view of the pyramids right from the room window. Friendly staff who helped with lifting luggage to the floor, allowed to check in earlier and helped with ordering a minibus to the airport

United StatesDidn't know that it was on the fifth floor of a building with no elevator. That wasn't the greatest. We also had an issue with the car service provided when the driver's car wasn't very large and he was trying to get us to leave some of our stuff because he already had some things in the trunk. It ended up working out, but if you use their drivers, make sure that you tell them how much luggage that you have to ensure that you don't run in to any of the issues that we ran into.
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the shared balcony provided an amazing view of the Great Pyramids of Giza. The manager was very helpful and we greatly appreciated his service.

United Kingdom- The noise at night, even at 2am road noise is very high with cars and trucks honking and traffic jams. This is going to the issue anywhere in Cairo, if you are facing a main road. At night there were heavy trucks on the road... so it could be an issue for light sleepers. -Not the end of the world, but there were two long female hairs on the bedsheet. I can't say the reason they were there and I just wanted to go to bed as we had arrived at 2am. So I just put them in the bin and crashed on the bed. -The water pressure was low. Something I read on the reviews before. The staff had mentioned that this is an issue with small Inn / B&B's like theirs due to it being not a developed country. -The temperature of the water varied so much that we decided not to bathe our child in the shower. -The wattage of the light in the bathroom could be slightly higher. It appeared a little dull and not brightly lit. Not a big issue, but just wanted to bring this to attention. -The bathroom looks little old but nothing wrong with it.
+ Location, Location, Location : The view from our triple room was amazing. This was the main reason for booking at this Inn and it delivered on that. + The staff was helpful and not pushy for any activities or excursions (something that was a good thing given the reputation of Cairo). The person during the day was not able to speak english but put us through over phone to someone who could help translate. + Wifi works * The breakfast was minimal but then this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. * It is on 2nd floor with no Lifts. So if you have mobility issues, please keep in mind. The Staff helped with moving luggage over stairs.

TurkeyWater pressure is weak, it is hard to take a shower. There is a road by the hotel and because of metro construction, there is always traffic jam and cars are beeping all the time. In fact, it is very difficult to find a silent spot in Cairo; because it is a very noisy city.
It's very close to the Pyramids. Breakfast is fine. Air conditioning works. Unlike other Cairo hotels, it is quite clean (and believe me it is the most important thing you should look for in Egypt). In Cairo, people are usually friendly because they expect something from you, but the boys in the reception are really honest and helpful.

United StatesAt a glance looking at the building from outside you wouldn't expect anyone to live in the building let alone have a small Inn. It very broken down and run down but most of the buildings in the area are the same way if not most of Cairo and Giza. But once you're inside the Inn you forget as they have done a decently good job at remodeling. It's not the best hotel in the world but for the area, and for the price it is worth the value. If you're not comfy staying in a mostly local area don't stay here, as we were uncomfortable to leave the hotel without our guide. Don't expect a 5 star hotel, it is decently clean (enough to feel comfy) but not hotel brand clean. The best thing the Inn has going for it is the staff 6/5 but the rest I give 2.5/5 or 3/5. I wouldn't recommend staying more then 2, maybe 3 nights anything under sure.
The Staff was super attentive, very polite and courteous. They had good lunch options compared to all the fast food around the area. They also offered to set up tours (for a fee), they had different packages and it made the overall experience more easy as you could just ask them to help with anything. For the price you pay it good value, it not a high end hotel but it is not a disgusting old motel. It a good decent, clean and modest Inn that won't brake the bank. If you don't need luxury and are only staying a couple of nights this might be an option to look into.
