How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room was rather small; the TV , although equipped with modern gadgets, did not work; the Internet was relatively speedy only in the corridor outside my room. The location is in deep downtown and is far from the sea coast. The advertised property price is competitively low while in the end it included various unspecified charges which do not exist in hotels. To make the advertised prise fare these charges should be included in the price outright.

Everything was great
It has a really nice decor, the host was very friendly and very interesting person, shams was great as well. I will definitely stay again if I visited. Also the area is pretty nice with bank, grocery store nearby

The closet was dusty, I couldn't use it to store my clothes.
I liked the antique furniture, the balcony where I could sit and have breakfast. I really enjoyed that I could see the street and the shops. people coming and going in the area. I could take a snapshot of the real Egypt.

This is my second visit to this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, I booked a room for an exam in Alexandria and I had requested an extra table and chair for studying. When I arrived I found everything ready, the room was clean. The hotel is located close to most of the important places in Alexandria. Thanks to Dr. Mustafa and his team for their hospitality and care.

The rooms are clean, the staff are very nice and polite. The place itself has a unique look Dr. Mustafa the manger is a very nice and helpful guy.

Everything is great.
The room is cozy, clean, and neat. The Internet is so fast the owner of the apartment Mustafa is a great man and helpful. The location of the apartment is central and it’s quiet. Everything is provided in the room such as fridge, microwave tea, coffee, and also there is hot water in the bathroom. The room has AC. Everything is the same as the provided photos in booking. Well recommended!!

Increadeble apartment. There are few rooms inside. Very clean. Fresh and clean sheets and towels. Fast internet connection. Good warm water on tap. Not expensive parking cross the street. Would love to come again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Alexandria. The location was ideal, close to all main attractions, and the staff was wonderful. Mostafa, in particular, made my stay extra special with his helpfulness and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Beautiful living quarters and my room has a in room bathroom was quiet and complete with a little area with a small refrigerator and hot water kettle. A microwave oven is available in a kitchen area on the same floor a steps down. The host and hostess were cordial and kind. They provide you with shoe cover so you know the place is sparkling clean. The bed was comfortable and the AC strong. I had 2 comfortable nights !

We initially booked for 1 night but we ended up staying for the whole week 😇 Dr. (Mostafa )the owner is a very decent classy person who has been very helpful & incredibly welcoming . The staff (Shams & Hanan ) were super nice and helpful with a very friendly smile . The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. My mom & I felt like home 🤍 Def our go to place whenever we visit Alex
