This hostel is one of the best in Cairo. My priority is always clean beds, clean toilets & a decent internet. This place is way more than that. It’s actually like a hotel, cleanliness is top notch, beds are top notch & there’s a small kitchen too. They have a really good & tasty breakfast in the morning too which will keep you full till the evening. I would definitely choose the same hostel if i visit cairo again.

It's on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. Travellers with huge luggage should keep this in mind.

Clean and budget friendly place. I liked everything here and the only thing I disliked is that it's on the 4th floor. Apart from that it's amazing. One of the best hostels I stayed at in Egypt.

Hello guys, if you are looking for a very accommodating hostel, this is it! What I really liked about it is the breakfast included by the lovely housekeeper in the morning, which pretty much leaves you full for the entire day. Also it comes with a guitar which you get to strum :)

Freedom hostel was really enjoyable, it was a place to meet other international travelers, plan the days ahead and rest when it was needed. The staff were kind, helpful, respectful and consistently provided a solid breakfast for the day. The sleeping area had AC, was kept clean and had personal lockers to put things away. My main highlight was the foyer where people came to when they were free, there we listened to music, exchanged ideas and kept company together. Huge thank you to Eslam and Ahmed for their hospitality, which made my time in Egypt amazing!

The floor was a bit high and there was no elevator.

A great budget option. Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean facilities, and a perfect location make it ideal for exploring the city. Rooms are spacious but a bit outdated, and the internet is unstable (like much of Egypt). Some street noise is to be expected in this lively area. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage after checkout. Recommended for budget travelers!

Downtown location, very convenient to move around. Spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast is very tasty! I want to highlight the attention of all the staff, especially Mohammed, who speaks Spanish. He helped and guided us at all times and was attentive to all our needs. Highly recommended!

There´s no elevator and it´s not easy to carry up the stairs heavy luggage, but the staff could help me with this situation too.

The private room ensuite was very big and confortable; The staff were friendly and helped with all information I needed, including the transfer from the airport, tours, etc. A good breakfast was offered every morning. The hostel has a great location, near the metro station, in Cairo downtown

97 steps is quite a lot to walk up. But it builds character.

The staff were excellent and very friendly. We had good chats over smokes by the window and they gave me plenty of recommendations, sorted out a driver for me to Saqqara at a great price. Really great introduction to my first couple days in Egypt.
