L'ostello è in un palazzo fatiscente ed è anch'esso abbastanza vecchio, avrebbe bisogno di un profondo restauro. Il pianerottolo dell'ostello odora di pipì di gatto, la pulizia delle camere è approssimativa (polvere sui comodini e molta polvere sotto il letto), alcune luci della stanza non si accendono e non ci sono abat-jour, gli infissi sono vecchi e fanno passare aria e rumore (necessario dormire con i tappi), la porta del box del bagno è scardinata ed è molto difficile chiuderla e riaprirla. Onestamente, viste le recensioni, ci aspettavamo di meglio.

Bagno interno alla camera con scarico che fischia per qualche minuto; scala condominiale sudicia; costi aggiuntivi quasi pari al costo della camera; costo del prelievo in aeroporto quattro volte maggiore di quello praticato da Uber, con l'aggiunta che l'autista ci ha fatto attendere 40 minuti perché doveva prelevare un'altra coppia, alla quale hanno chiesto il permesso di poter viaggiare con loro, per poi farci trasbordare, come pacchi, su un altro taxi a metà strada.

We want to take your attention to that you have landed at SPHINX AIRPORT which is far away from the hostel by 70 KM round trip, So the cost cover the distance for the way of the driver who go to the airport and wait you and start again to drop you of at the hostel. Also you have landed at 10:30 pm and you arrived to the hostel at 12 midnight which means you did not wait for 40 minutes at all but we are sorry if the driver's car stopped working and he tried to find a solution for you that's why he took you with another couple but at the airport gate another driver picked you up privately in another car . Recensione verificataPosizione centralissima, siamo arrivati a piedi sul nilo e al museo del cairo con una piacevole passeggiata. Host gentilissimo, siamo partiti alle 7 e ci hanno anticipato la colazione solo per noi. Siamo state veramente fortunate a trovare un posto così speciale!

Recensione verificataE' un ostello perciò non ci si può aspettare di più, per il resto il personale molto cordiale, educato e gentile, mentre per la colazione lascia un potrebbe migliorare e l'unica cosa che sono rimasto un pò sconvolto è portare due valigie grandi al terzo piano senza ascensore...perciò nel complesso va bene.

Recensione verificataNon fatevi impaurire dal palazzo perché è veramente fatisciente. La struttura, invece, sita al 3 ed ultimo piano, è pulita e accogliente con camere con bagni in comune o camere con bagno privato. Ti offrono anche la prima colazione ma noi non ne abbiamo usufruito. La posizione é ottima, in downtown, molto movimentata soprattutto la sera con diversi locali (noi siamo stati durante il ramadan è devo dire una bella esperienza strade affollattissime di gente). A circa 10 minuti di cammino si trova piazza Tahrir e il museo Egizio (quello vecchio, il nuovo si trova a Giza vicino alle piramidi ma ancora le gallerie sono chiuse). A pochi passi dall'hostel si trova la fermata della metro. Lo staff gentilissimo.

Hostel ottimo per chi non ha grandi pretese e vuole riposare tranquillo. Purtroppo senza ascensore è scala con molti gradini . Gentilissimi i dipendenti. Buono per lo standard africano.

Recensione verificataPer soggiornare al Cairo è la migliore opzione. Lo staff è stato incredibilmente accogliente, disponibile, sincero e calmo. In una città caotica come Cairo è necessario trovare un posto come questo per avere un angolo di pace. Lo staff è composto da 4 ragazzi, uno meglio dell'altro. Non abbiamo veramente parole per ringraziare questi ragazzi, hanno fatto di tutto per farci sentire a casa!! Lo ripeto un'altra volta: nel caos di Cairo e tra i truffatori di turisti, trovare uno staff cosi e un ambiente di questo tipo è FONDAMENTALE! Grazie ancora ragazzi, se torneremo al Cairo ospiteremo sicuramente da voi! TOP TOP TOP Alhamdulillah guys!!!!!

Recensione verificataL'ostello si trova in una buonissima posizione in centro città, in una via molto tranquilla e silenziosa durante la notte. A pochi passi si possono trovare ATM, negozi e buoni ristoranti/bar. Al nostro arrivo in tarda notte hanno pensato loro ad organizzare un transfer privato dall'aeroporto. La colazione tipica egiziana è veramente molto buona. Molta comoda la possibilità di acquistare acqua in bottiglia alla reception a soli 10 EGP. Un grazie ad Eslam e al resto dello staff per la loro disponibilità e gentilezza.
La struttura è un po' spartana, ci vuole un po' di spirito di adattamento.

Recensione verificataPosizione all'ultimo piano di un palazzo nel centro del Cairo, a circa 10 -15 minuti a piedi dal Museo Egizio. Camera comoda, bel bagno con box doccia. Colazione gustosa preparata dalle signore, i ragazzi della reception tutti molto simpatici e sorridenti, pronti ad aiutarti per qualsiasi cosa.

Recensione verificataOttima posizione, a 5 minuti da piazza Tahrir, in una zona piena di negozi e di movimento, ciò nonostante la camera era silenziosa ed abbiamo dormito bene, Camera ampia, con aria condizionata, il bagno era esterno ma lo abbiamo trovato sempre pulitissimo (presente anche il phon, che non sempre ho trovato nelle altre strutture in Egitto). Buona colazione (deliziosi i mini falafel), Staff molto gentile, con buona conoscenza della lingua inglese.
