How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewThe location is amazing and everything is nearby there is a varity in the cuisine every night a different menu, the staff was very friendly with everyone and they are doing all their best to satisfy the guests .the beach is sandy and amazing this is my second vacation in this hotel and sure i will repeat it again. My family and i enjoyed there so much .

The room was in very bad condition. The swimming pool was always dirty, and even the lifeguard was smoking by the pool. The restaurant team was completely unorganized, careless, very noisy, and their uniforms were dirty. The food had no taste at all. At the beach, there was no one to assist, and towels were either not available or dirty. The service level was very poor, the rooms were old, and there was no warm welcome or farewell for the guest. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, and I will definitely not return again.

Verified reviewCan't thank our cleaner Mohammad Ali enough for keeping our room spotless and entertained with his towel designs. He couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating.5 stars for him. The reception staff were friendly and responded well when questions were asked. Also 5 stars. Also the bar staff in reception were pleasant and helpful. Location was fantastic, easy access to the beach and a short stroll into the main Naama strip.
The restaurant wasn't the best. The air conditioning was ineffective and had to hunt for a table, then plates and then cutlery. Although the omelette cheff was friendly and remembered my order. At times the juice and water dispensers were empty and on one occasion the staff responded rudely and carried on talking on her phone. There was also a couple of occassions when the restaurant staff were arguing with each other in front of guests. Not professional. We had a deluxe room which was a decent size. However a couple of things could be improved. In order to plug the kettle in you had to put it on the floor to reach the socket. The air conditioning was effective but could only turn it off by the switch which I could only reach by standing on a chair. There was also a leak from upstairs in the bathroom with water coming through the light. This continued throughout our stay despite it being reported on more than one occasion. Evening entertainment was not the best. And when we didn't attend the foam party, the girl was rude to my husband about us not attending.

Verified reviewThis place provides an interesting experience. It's humble and spacious like being on a boat cruise. The facilities were all good, nothing to brag about, but the staff are what I appreciated the most here. I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was with me. Mr Haitham and Mr Gamal were responsige with whatever concerns I had, from extending the checkout time to providing me with a charger when I lost mine. Looking forward to more time at ghazala beach!
There was a particular smell to the hotel. The room phone wasn't working but the staff were helpful with that.

Verified reviewThe hotel was exceptional in terms of location — right in the heart of Naama Bay's promenade, yet perfectly tucked away from the noise and hustle. The swimming pool was spacious and clean however needs little maintenance, and the beach was simply breathtaking. The staff were highly professional, always warm and welcoming, and went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with powerful air conditioning. Housekeeping services were top-notch. There were different nightly shows catering to all age groups, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. In terms of value for money, it truly exceeded all expectations. Overall, it was a wonderful stay — for the first time, I genuinely felt as relaxed and comfortable as I would at home. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
There were two things that I didn’t particularly like. First, the Wi-Fi service was unavailable throughout the hotel, which was quite surprising for a place of such a high standard — I definitely expected the presence of internet connection. Second, while the quality of the food was excellent, the quantity and availability were an issue. Once a main dish ran out, it wasn’t replenished with the same item, but rather replaced with a less popular alternative. This meant I had to arrive before the restaurant even opened and wait to be among the first in line just to get the dish I wanted. If I showed up just ten minutes after dinner started, for example, some of the main options would already be gone and replaced. On top of that, due to how crowded the dining hall got, it was exhausting trying to find a table inside the air-conditioned area. Part of the issue, to be fair, seemed to come from guests overloading their plates with more than they could possibly eat — often leaving half of it to be thrown away. I believe the restaurant could manage this better, perhaps by ensuring that all main dishes remain available throughout the meal period. That said, the quality of the food itself was truly excellent.
