Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

KuwaitI didn’t like that the rooms seem a bit outdated; I really hope they get renovated soon. Also, the water heater needs fixing, and the air conditioning is very noisy, which can be disturbing during sleep.
I loved the overall atmosphere of the hotel — it’s beautiful and relaxing. The reception staff were very professional, kind, and welcoming, which made my stay more pleasant.

PortugalSometimes there was extremely loud music on the resort at night (and also on the neighbouring resorts) that we could hear in our room. The part of the beach near to the resort main restaurant smelled (I supposed that after some days there was less smell), so I always went to the part further away from there. The music on the beach was extremely loud, all day long, that we could hear even far away from the spot. The sand was clean but dusty, specially he parts away from the sea. The beach closed too soon, at 5 pm (maybe because of the Ramadan).
The resort is very beautiful and is made of small houses (one per room), all with a terrace with chairs. The staff is very nice and helpful, the food is plenty and has a wide variety of dishes. My room was big, nice looking, newly refurbished, with a sofa, a coffee table and a big closet that included robes, an iron and an ironing table and with a small but luxurious bathroom. My terrace had 2 chairs, a sofa and a coffee table. The amenities were good (soap, showering gel, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, slippers, 2 apples and 3 small cakes, and daily two bottles of water of 1.5 litres). The resort's private beach is the best of Naama Bay. It is next to the hotel and is longer than the ones of the neighbouring resorts. The water was warm, the umbrellas were big and with space between them, the chaise longues were fine, the sand was clean but dusty, specially he parts away from the sea.

RomaniaI would like better service at the reception. For example, when friends were given a room with a dirty bathroom and single beds and they didn't want to change it even for money. We had a flight at 23 but we were evicted with a 2-year-old child at 11 am, we asked for another half day for an extra fee - but the answer was no. And the child slept at the reception The rooms need renovation, the cleanliness is not ideal.
It’s good 4* not 5 Beach 5* If you travel with little kids- this bay is the best option. Sand and slow enter to the water! But considering that this beach is used by two hotels, there is not much space. We took the sun loungers at 7 am The food was good 4,8. small selection, but enough to eat There is not enough cutlery in the restaurant very often There is a hookah on the hotel premises, a guy from Baku - rating 10 out of 5 👍🏻 we recommend the one for $23

NetherlandsThe rooms are tired and the bathrooms are terribly run down. The hotel is slowly renovating and the deluxe rooms look much better but they are also quite expensive. We did change the room in the beginning and the second one was a bit better. After all we got used to it. The cleaning is ok but the floor often is not cleaned well. At the check in we did not receive any info about the fact that we could use the water park of Jaz Sharm Dreams and join their evening entertainment. We also did not like that one employee was pushing guests to leave 5 star reviews on Google. This should not happen. All in all we had a lovely time. The positives have outweigh the negatives for us.
The location is great, 15 min walk from Naama bay tourist center, 15 min by car to the old market. We also loved the low rise set up with the small chalets and the garden. They take a very good care of the garden. The room is of a good size for a family of 3. The beds are comfortable. The small sofa bed good for a small child. The staff are very kind and friendly and if you have a request they react quickly. Special thanks to Moheb, FO assistant manager for his hospitality. We had an issue at the restaurant once and the staff went out of the way to make it up for it. It was my dad’s birthday during our stay and the hotel arranged for a lovely chocolate cake and the restaurant staff congratulated him. We loved it! The beach is amazing. We absolutely loved snorkelling. The wind was strong sometimes but in the water it was nice, even though a tad chilly. The food was good, definitely much better than what we have experienced in some even 5 star resorts in Egypt.

United KingdomI know times change and I’ve been coming here for over 20 yrs, but this is the first time the beach was noisy: I come to the beach to listen to the sea, read and relax and the pool in most hotels is always the noisy place for actives, music blaring out etc… the music was less intrusive after I had an chance meeting with a manager: but this hotel has my heart.
The location is the best in Sharm for me. I return year after year as drawn by this magical place, this beach, these staff.

GermanyAt times, we had to chase the personnel to get certain things done, however this was fully compensated by the fact that the room offered to us was new and certain things needed improvement. Again, staff were super helpful and friendly and we were happy with the visit. One thing to improve though is, beach seat availability. Unfortunately these were often not sufficient in number during peak times e.g. at 11:30.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and supportive, they helped us with any need we had. The rooms were great. It's very quiet. The reason we chose this place was, it's arranged as an array of small houses, very naturally and harmoniously placed together, each being a one-story building (for the suites / deluxe option, please check with personnel when booking), each room having an individual entrance. The place is very quiet, good selection of calm music is playing, you don't get bothered by suggestions if excursions etc., so you can JUST REST :) Absolutely recommended!

All the apartments are close to the private beach The beach is long, sand After just 10 m-s you see colorful fishes and coral reefs - great place for snorkeling! Food variety is great! Staff is kind, helpful, very friendly

Russia- Not enough space for all the guests on the beach (guests from two hotels come to the same beach) - Pools are outdated - Rooms are a little bit tired (even there was a renovation as I believe) - Food variety - Territory is not big
- Great location (Naama bay is almost without wind, nice street outside, mountains) - Exceptional corals and sea life experience - Nice territory (flowers, green grass, chalets) - Good bars (quality of soft drinks, appearance) - Rooms look good - Food quality
