Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

EgyptThe food needs to be improved, the quality and taste are very bad. The free beach is smelly not clean. And unfortunately the other beach Palma with extra fees to enter, the hotel doesn’t offer transportation with flexible scheduling to go to it.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially at the Aqua Park. My kids had a great time at the pool, and they particularly enjoyed the foam party

United Arab EmiratesThe food at the hotel was honestly quite disappointing — it just didn’t taste good, and that really affected the overall experience. I think there’s a lot of potential here, though! Maybe instead of offering so many different dishes, it would be better to focus on just 4 or 5 well-made ones using high-quality oil, butter, or ghee. A smaller menu with great flavors could really make a big difference for future guests. The locks of the doors need to be fixed we face this problem in almost most of the doors I had 3 rooms and the restaurant bathroom and the bathrooms in the room it takes alot of effort to open the door also my kids stuck there more than one time.
The staff is super professional very helpful and respectful very responsive. They upgrade us for free gave us a complimentary lunch in the checkout day. Very generous. The water park is very nice. The beds are very comfy.

TurkeyIt's a good hotel, but the food needs improvement. Unfortunately, they're not very hospitable and don't allow you to use the hotel's facilities after check-out, not even lunch. Of course, they're not obligated to do this, but in Türkiye, they certainly help you with such things. The hotel needs to change its approach.

IsraelService at the front desk was lacking—we had to request a towel change multiple times before it was addressed. The quality of alcoholic beverages was disappointing, limited to a few low-quality local wines and beers. Schedules for the pools, water park, and snack bars were overly complicated, with several open/close intervals throughout the day that were hard to follow. The food, in general, did not meet five-star standards. Many dishes were repetitive, vegetables often looked less than fresh, and the fruit selection was very limited. The room's TV was extremely small, and the bathroom felt quite dated and in need of an upgrade.
The animation team and bar staff were friendly, energetic, and made an effort to create a welcoming atmosphere. Entertainment activities were engaging, and the overall vibe at the bars was pleasant and relaxed. The room was generally comfortable and clean, offering a decent stay. Meat dishes and desserts at the buffet stood out in quality and taste.

United KingdomUnfortunately, we had a bad experience with one of the waiters in the restaurant. Partially, we can take responsibility for pursuing however, it made a relaxing holiday turn sour for the last few days we were there. We were discouraged from reporting when we spoke to some staff however, thankfully Ahman from the Spa encouraged me to report the person. We were then approached by guest relations staff who had quickly and swiftly changed our room, gave us lunch and assured one of our party that she is safe and we received notice of the outcome. My friend however continued to receive mistreatment (egg in food, food tasting different than previous nights) from the staff in the kitchen who were unhappy with our report. We hope to find a resolution here as I loved visiting Sharm el Sheikh but will hesitate to stay here again.
The hotel itself is beautifully architecturally thought out. We loved the different pools, the facilities (spa, gym), the roof top. We loved the connection to the beach and shuttle that takes you quickly there and back. The staff were really helpful and friendly especially when it came to doing excurisons and activities. Although wifi in the rooms can be improved.

PortugalOne major issue for me was that my room didn’t have a lock that actually worked. I asked the manager to change rooms, but every single one I was shown had the same problem. As a woman traveling alone in Egypt, safety is my number one priority — so finding multiple rooms with broken locks in a supposed 5-star hotel was deeply unsettling. It made me wonder what had happened there to damage so many locks. They eventually offered to replace the lock on my room, but since I was close to checking out, I decided not to pursue it further. Still, this situation made the stay far from relaxing, which is what I look for in a holiday. The staff were friendly, but at times a bit too forward — especially around the pool. I was asked to take photos with some of the staff members, and occasionally felt like I was being watched. This level of interaction is not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel, particularly from a European guest's perspective. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience — I’d still recommend it and could even stay there again. But I wouldn’t classify it as a luxury stay, and it certainly didn’t meet my expectations of a 5-star standard.
I really appreciated the manager and the woman responsible for checking in with guests about their overall satisfaction — both were attentive and genuinely cared about the guest experience. My room was spacious and bright, with clean towels, toiletries, and even a blow dryer (which is surprisingly rare in Egypt). I enjoyed the all-inclusive package — the food was varied, of good quality, well-cooked, and I felt confident eating even the raw options. The hotel features four fantastic pools, each with a different vibe — from quiet and relaxing to fun and activity-filled. It’s great to be able to choose the pool that matches your mood each day. But the absolute highlight for me was the spa and massage experience. I would recommend it 110% — the facilities were excellent, the service outstanding, and it was never too crowded. Honestly, it was the best part of my stay — I couldn’t have asked for more.

United KingdomThe showers never seemed to get hot. In the room, and in the spa I used the showers after check-out and they were freezing cold.
Check in took a little bit of time but the welcome was friendly with a welcome drink offered. Free wifi for 2 devices per room, and the room a great size. The whole hotel is a little tired but well kept and clean. I enjoyed the buffet for dinner and breakfast which was lovely Egyptian food. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

RomaniaAs soon as we checked out and asked for help with a taxi, the guys from reception and the concierge were prepared only for rip off, all the prices were double. There is a huge problem with flies and mosquitoes, even in the lobby. The so-called “a la carte restaurant” does not exist, they have a rooftop restaurant that serves only one predetermined meal (not to mention part of it was from the dinner that we had the previous night in the self-service restaurant) and even if we tried to explain we can’t eat two out of the 3 courses and we just wanted 2 plates of what we could eat, they basically said they didn’t have it and forced one of each on us. The wine is very far away from what we recognise as being dry red even though we asked and reconfirmed with the waiter a couple of times. The issue is that you ask for what you need and they give you what they want/have. I don’t understand how this is possible and why they are rated as a 5* hotel. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere in the world. The variety of food in the self serving restaurant was so and so, you wouldn’t starve, but it did not meet the expected standards for a 5* hotel either. Let’s say that for this price point it was almost decent. I wouldn’t have had a problem with anything if I had known what to expect, but the label is way prettier than reality. Just forget anything you know about an a la carte restaurant if you want to come here.
The staff was very friendly and willing to help with any issue. We were there for a birthday and they were kind enough to prepare a surprise for us. We really appreciated it and we had a great interaction with the entertainment team, hello to Mickey and Brazily! The room was big and clean, very big bed, we slept really well, however you can tell it’s a bit “tired” and could use refreshing.

United KingdomA little tired in places but addressing this is in progress. The area is relatively quiet though has clearly been more bustling in the past. The developments the hotel are undertaking will hopefully inject new life into the whole area.
