How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewPerfect Location to visit Giza.
the attitude of the greeting staff, the food servers were respectful. We found old blood on the bed sheets. We booked the room on booking.com, when we arrived, we were asked to pay cash because they couldn't receive from booking anymore. In fact, in order to pay by credit card, they had to use a friend's merchant account. We found out they are not doing business on booking anymore for some reason, that was a major concern. Book at your own risk.
dear Daniel, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. At the time of your visit, our hotel was newly opened and still undergoing some improvements, which unfortunately affected certain aspects of your experience. We truly value your comments as they help us grow, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again so you can experience our improved service.

Verified reviewThe perfect location with the breathtaking pyramids view from the balcony. Ebrahim, Isra and Habiba made sure our stay was comfortable. Very friendly service. Young Mohammad assisted with a smile, using his translator app to good effect 😀. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Nothing to do with the establishment, but the guys trying to sell to you in the streets were relentless and sometimes dishonest.

The place was well-maintained and very peaceful at night. The breakfast was delicious — fresh, local, and served with a smile every morning. The staff were all very welcoming, especially Mr. Ibrahim, who was incredibly kind and always willing to help. He gave us great welcome we visited the Pyramids and the surrounding areas, which was an unforgettable experience and he keep our bags We felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. Verified reviewi liked the view of the pyramids!
this hotel is in an amazing location when i had food poisoning they did help me by getting me painkillers everything seemed to have gone well i mainly came here since as a solo travelling woman i didn’t want to go in the pyramids and get harassed i thought booking this hotel would be better!! the owner took me to the atm to withdraw money out,and invited me to the bar bought me food and water on him expect it didn’t end up well whenever he kept asking if i was single or taken usually i would lie and say im taken but since its the hotel owner i said single not wanting a bf but i don’t think he understood this as he kept demanding i went to the bar said i was “cute” called me “my love” “baby” as a solo girl who’s just turned 18 a month ago i felt very unsafe,he kept coming down to my room wanting me to go to the bar it got to the point where i had to call my friend to make sure nothing happened inappropriately, the son and other man there seemed very friendly but as for the owner he was very pushy when it came to these things! most of the time id take these things lightly but as for this i wasn’t happy with the things he said to me and refused no as an answer i kept on saying no but he wouldn’t let me say no he kept wanting me to go to the bar, definitely do come here if you have someone else with you but as for solo women i don’t recommend
We feel very disappointed with what you believed, but let us clarify the matter. We were very concerned about you because you did not leave your room for the entire duration of your stay, which was three days. You did not even come out for breakfast, which is unusual. Out of our responsibility and concern for the safety of our guests, we had to ensure that you were okay and that nothing had happened to you. We were checking to see if you were fine or needed help; no one asked you for anything. On the contrary, we contacted the pharmacy and brought you the medicine. We were waiting for some appreciation from you, especially since we treated you as one of the family. Considering that you were alone, we apologize again for if you misunderstood our assistance as something negative.

Then after that, the place and the double room, in terms of cleanliness and organization, are among the best places I have lived in recently. Then after that, the view from the rooftop in front of the pyramids is very very, very beautiful. Then, a very special thanks to Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Ibrahim.

Verified reviewWe were right next to the pyramid entrance. Close to shops. Clean and friendly staff (thank you Ahkmed). We felt very welcomed and he arranged for anything we wanted to do. Camel rides with Sam was amazing!
I would do your own shopping as it will be cheaper than the guides taking you. The shops just outside the hotel were amazing and good prices!

Verified reviewThe room and location was so nice.
I couldn’t trust the staff. I had to pay 400 more because I paid by a credit card. They said it’s not for them, but for the government. The day tour they offered to me was 120 US dollars.I declined. The price of an orange juice was 200 , but they wanted 250. I don’t know if it’s appropriate, but it’s the fact.
Sir, first of all, we are glad to have you among us. I would like to clarify that we do not force anyone to use the payment method, but like anywhere in the world, there are fees for the movement of money when paying by card. I believe that the team informed you that you are free to choose the payment method. Thank you again.

Verified reviewI stayed at this hotel during my trip to Cairo, and the most impressive part was definitely the direct view of the Pyramids .The staff was always friendly and helpful, ready to assist with anything I needed. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and fresh products. The rooms are basic, maybe not the hotel’s strongest point, but still clean and comfortable enough for a pleasant stay. Overall, I’d recommend it, especially for those who want the unforgettable experience of waking up to one of the Seven Wonders of the World right outside their window!

Verified reviewLocation is great, you can see the Great Pyramids from rooftop area. You can also see the light and sound show from there. Staff were friendly specially the kid (yes, they look like a kid) who works late night to early morning as well as the person who prepares the breakfast. Value for money is great.
Hotel is extremely hard to find as there is no sign that would tell where the hotel is. Owner claims the hotel opened 10 days ago but doesn't seem true as there are some amenities that are a but dated.
