Bad english speaking staff. Breakfast starts at 9 am. Too late in my opinion when you wanna discover a city. So skip the Breakfast option.

Great view, all the staff are really nice They bring breakfast to your room if you ask for it. Excellent location near the Egyptian Museum and Metro Station "sadat" We would stay here at any time again.

It’s a great location, close to Tahrir Square and the Egyptian museum, there are also many restaurants and shops around. The staff is really kind.

The staff was friendly and contacted me ahead of time to inquire about arrival time. I arrived at 2am and checked in quickly. The hygiene was good, the room was clean and had a view of the Nile in Cairo.

The owner Mr Hamaza offered to help me book a tour (Pyramids, Alexandria, etc) at a lower price. This turned out really poorly -- the tour guide did a bad job and I had to find someone else midway during the trip. However, in his defense, the owner admitted that it was bad and was honest enough to refund me part of the money. Breakfast also isn't great, but you can get amazing hawawshi just across the street.

The building is run down (like most of Cairo) but the hotel room is very clean and easy to access, nothing too fancy though. The staff is friendly (receptionists all speak English) and the owner Mr Hamaza is just a phone call away if you need anything. They arranged a FREE shuttle to and from the airport. Also, try to get a room facing East! The East-facing view (you can see from the reception in the pictures) overlooks the Nile and is absolutely gorgeous.

You will be very comfortable here as long as you understand that it's a very basic little hostel, nothing fancy. Please note there are no hair dryers so byo.

If you're looking for something super basic for your stay, choose the Isis. I stay here every time I come to Cairo because it is a lovely, friendly little place with excellent staff who go above and beyond every day. They will always help you with absolutely anything you need at any time. Breakfast is excellent and some of the staff speak very good English (though not all, so be prepared for that). The rooms are surprisingly quiet for the location and beds are very comfortable. I stay there alone as a woman and have always felt perfectly safe.

Entrance of the hotel looks outdated and when arriving at night for the first time this is not what you expect. The bathroom is functional but really needs renovation.

Friendly staff. Within 10 min walk of the museum. I liked the Egyptian breakfast they offer. The view from the hotel is nice.

The breakfast was not as good as we expected,it was not that good, along with a very noisy sound hitting our windows especially at room 608, on the top of that, there was a water leak in the bathroom.

The location was pretty perfect, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

The location is perfect: a lot of shops nearby, several sights in the vicinity that you can walk around; The room is simple but comfortable, the cozy bed and the blanket and pillows are very comfortable and warm; there is a minibar in the room that is quite useful

I spent one night at the hotel, and it was great. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the natural view from the hotel was breathtaking, The location is close to everything, making it perfect for my short visit. I will definitely consider coming back for a longer stay.

The street is crowded with cars, but it didn't bother me.

Great location, friendly staff and clean hotel. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is a very convenient location close to the city. There are lots of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood, and the view is very nice Excellent and tidy. Great value for money. Highly recommend.
