Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaWe had a plesant experience, they have a beautiful room with pyramids view, although it was a little bit pricey on Booking.com for a place like Cairo. On the other side, Bedo was very nice and helpful, he works in the reception but also as a tour guide, probably the nicest person in that hotel. Breakfast was included and it was decent, but we had the same thing everyday which gets a little exhausting after 2-3 days in a row. We appreciated how close the hotel is to the pyramids, that is a big bonus, even if it wasn’t in the best or most touristic neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomIt was hard to find initially, otherwise, we loved it!
What an amazing place! The views are simply stunning, you won’t find many better views of the pyramids than this! Bedo on reception was extremely helpful, and made time to share stories with us about the local area to bring it even more to life. To see the sunset over the Pyramids was unforgettable. Food was also amazing, the best breakfast we had in Egypt!

KuwaitThe building was hard to find, There almost no signs outside that lead to the hotel, and its located in the 11th floor of a building in the side road, I had to ask locals for it. The room isnt soundproof so it might be an issue for some people, The hot tub is noisy.
The view of the pyramids was great, The room is amazing and they provide you with shower gel , and shampoo. The sunset view was amazing, i recommend staying in the hotel to see the sunset / sunrise with the pyramids view at the background. while having a hot tub bath

United StatesNot a convenient location. Like a home stay - one floor for reception and three rooms - loud! Thin window let in cold air and lots of noise. Staff was kind but limited English. No hot water for shower.

United StatesThe outside is not clearly labeled. Our taxi driver had to wake a sleeping guard and verify the hotel was correct. There was an off putting smell coming from the water line and the jacuzzi and glass window could’ve been cleaner.
View and staff were amazing! We had everything we needed and this hotel served our needs for a quick one night stay to see the pyramids.

United StatesVery dirty part of town. Many cats peeing everywhere. The owner appeared nice at first but truly he was just after money. We ordered food and it became clear after that he minimized the portions.
The view of the pyramid was excellent. That was the best and main feature of this stay.

United KingdomNone. As located on the top floor of block flats, the lift could be heard at night but not a big deal for us.
What a lovely six days we had at “Jumeirah pyramids view inn”! The three-bed room we booked was better than expected, with aircon, TV, a little fridge and a private bathroom. The breakfast was great as well, served very quickly after taking a seat on the terrace. Big thank you to the reception lad (Mohamed) who was always smiling and gave us everything we needed. Location to the pyramids is a huge bonus, 15min. walking distance from the main entrance. The view from the terrace was amazing. I didn't expect to have similar accommodation for the price we paid. Big thanks to the team and hope to see you all again!

Big Thank you to Abdul Rahman and rest of the team at the hotel who went above and beyond to help us and organised everything in terms of breakfast, excursions and at a very fair and reasonable price. GermanyOur stay was amazing. The staff was so nice and helpful, we felt we are in good hands. The view was a dream and we loved enjoying the breakfast while having the pyramids right in front of us. I also really liked the neighborhood, we could see authentic life of the people of Cairo. There are a lot of good restaurants and a supermarket in short walking distance. Everyone was just so super nice and kind. Book this place, you will not regret!!!

Everything was perfect: brand new family run hotel, they went above and beyond to accommodate my requests ( breakfast at 6.30 am!). Bidu and all the other people there are very nice and friendly. Room was clean and big, nice bathroom with powerful shower. Comfy bed and pillows too! The outside area seems a bit run down but it’s nothing to worry about, I felt safe as a solo female traveller
