How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewMagical Rooftop Views, Genuine Hospitality & Unforgettable Experiences Near the Pyramids I had a memorable stay at this B&B near the Giza Pyramids. Ahmed, the host, was warm, kind, and incredibly welcoming — you immediately feel like you're in good hands. The neighborhood is rustic and raw, with camels and horses grazing in the streets — something that might feel a bit rough around the edges to some, but it offers an authentic slice of local life that’s hard to find in more polished tourist areas. The true highlight was enjoying breakfast on the rooftop while taking in the breathtaking view of the pyramids — absolutely surreal. Watching the sun rise or set behind them was a moment I’ll never forget. What also stood out were the tours offered through the B&B. These weren’t your typical cookie-cutter experiences — they were thoughtfully curated, immersive, and often felt like once-in-a-lifetime adventures. Whether exploring ancient sites or discovering hidden gems with locals, every experience was truly special. If you're seeking a 5-star hotel, this isn’t that. But if you want real connection, heartwarming hospitality, and moments that will stay with you long after you leave, I can’t recommend it enough. Ideal for solo travelers or anyone open to a more grounded and magical kind of travel.
failed couple times - ordered Khartoush and only want one sided ended up with both sides,, failed to properly inform me of one tour booked through him but told me shared tour which I was ok with just second lunch wasn't provided Last day wanted to go to some local shops and was taken to tourist trap shops. complained after left first review through app.

Verified reviewWe had a magical time at Keeper’s. A modest hotel but with an unparalleled view of the pyramids and a fantastic host. Ahmed, our host, was a total delight and nothing was too much trouble. We had the best meal of our holiday organised by Ahmed - particularly good chicken, rice and sides. We ate on the roof terrace listening to the evening prayers all around us, with camels mumbling and horses munching and resting below and huge open skies. It was very special. Ahmed can organise excursions at good rates. We felt very safe at all times.

Verified reviewView from the terrace, location to the pyramids, 10 min walk, there are also a couple of cafes, shops, souvenirs. The owner is a very friendly and helpful guy, you can write or call him with any request, he is young and learning how to manage his business, so he is so happy for any comments and suggestions.

Verified reviewQWhatever we say about Ahmed's hospitality and good service will not be enough. Starting from our late arrival, countless useful tips, organizing daily visits. Exceptional respect and consideration for our wishes and possibilities. Thanks to him, we have warm memories of our vacation, and we feel extremely well and safe. The delicious breakfast was a great convenience for us. The view from the terrace is beautiful. The evening is great for a drink, extremely quiet, and great for relaxing after a noisy day.My children love it and really enjoyed it. Thank you, Ahmed !

Verified reviewBefore we had a hotel in Cairo downdown and went to Keeper Pyramids View Inn only for two reasons: 1. the very close and unspoilt view to the pyramids. 2. the very promising pictures, descriptions and guest ratings. Our expectations were not only matched but exeeded! The view from the terrace was incredible, the room extraordinary clean, and Ahmed, the friendly owner, was very helpful. Ahmed, it was a pleasure to meet you and to stay in your house! Thank you and all the best!

Wifi was not working. The area is a bit dirty and not easy to find the place
you came at a time when the Wi-Fi package was not renewed, but now there is Wi-Fi. It does not matter how the outside area is because this is a street and it is not my responsibility. The most important thing is the hotel and the room, and they were in the best condition and clean. Thank you, I wish you the best. 😊

Verified reviewIn contrast to many places in Egypt, this place really surpasses expectations. It has a great view from the terrace, an owner that is communicative, friendly and honest. A room (our was triple) , clean and spacious, with a clean private bathroom. The owner brings breakfast in the morning to the terrace. he is a young guy and I hope he succeeds with this hotel. He seems eager to make it work, you can see he is trying and working hard. and his service is one of the best or the best we had in Egypt. So I hope he succeeds. Note, you can find the reception on the second floor (+1 from the base) Spanish: el lugar está bien por la vista, la atención, y el cuarto que es limpio y grande. Me gusto, por el precio y atención y comfort está genial. Y la vista ❤️
As other reviews say: there are horses and camels in the area and that an be overwhelming at first for tourists, we are from Peru. But, don't worry,it is safe. 😊 And people are friendly.

Verified reviewGreat stay! The room is nice, and more you expect for that money. Even TV, Hairdryer, Kettle and Fridge. Ahmed and his Sister are very nice and help you with everything you need. The breakfast is on the roof with amazing view of the pyramids! The area is quite and safe, nice people in the neighbourhood and lots of Camels and Horses! You can walk to the entrance of the pyramids! Would stay again!
Only thing I didn't like, is that it's allowed to smoke in the room. Which you can smell in furniture and carpet. I would have preferred a local breakfast than the western style one, but for that price you can't complain.....and I even got Falafel at the last morning.

Verified reviewI arrived in the middle of the night, and I really appreciate the host for welcoming me at such a late hour. It was a huge relief not having to wander around Giza with my backpack at that time. Like many others have mentioned, the rooftop is a great place to relax. Having breakfast up there was definitely a highlight. The private bathroom in the single room was a big plus, and the hot water was truly hot—perfect after a long day out. Ahmed, the host, is a really nice person. He cared about if the guest needs help. The time chatting with him was also good.
Thank you , We were delighted to you stay with us and hope you will back again😊

Verified reviewThe owner is a nice person who provides perfect hospitality without really trying to sell you anything. He speaks English well and you can rely on him with any queries. There is a lovely view of pyramids and even Sphinx from the rooftop. My room was exactly as pictured and in great condition, including the hot water in the shower, a kettle and a fridge.
The location may look a bit doubtful at first with all those horses and camels around, but it appears to be very quiet in comparison to some areas near the ticket office and the main road (while it's still just 5-10 minutes of walking there).
Thank you , We were delighted to you stay with us and hope you will back again😊
