⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Layla Hostel. The place has a contemporary design with a European vibe that feels modern and cozy. My bed was very comfortable, and the atmosphere made me feel at home. The price was also very affordable, which is perfect for solo travelers like me. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a stylish yet budget-friendly stay.

For improvement, it would be great if the hostel could provide daily packages for guests, and also consider accepting different exchange rates. During my stay, I had some difficulties withdrawing money from the ATM and only had SAR, while the hostel mainly accepts USD. I completely understand there may be reasons for this policy, but if such flexibility could be added, it would make things easier for travelers.

I stayed in one of the private rooms and it was fabulous. Such a beautiful hostel/hotel. The staff are helpful, met an owner and he is lovely. The hotel was even more beautiful to me than in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, lots of details to look at and admire. I stayed here twice and I would go back again if I return to Cairo. Also, rooms were super clean, breakfast is inexpensive, healthy, and delicious! Also, neighbourhood is interesting and safe for a solo female to walk around. The house is tucked behind a gate and is a quiet place away from Cairo’s noisy traffic.

The cats were also a big part of why o liked the property. They are so cute and friendly.

The building is beautiful inside and out, and the staff is very nice. The pool felt nice at the end of the day.

The bottom beds need to be cleaned underneath and in the corners. They should be swept/vacummed out and sanitized.

Feels like home! Lovely atmosphere and good possibilities to connect to other visitors. Cheeky and friendly staff available at all times. Beautiful pool to cool after excursions and hot egyptian sun. Perfect location. Stylish rooms and public spaces. Cute kitties too give a lot of joy for guests. When I am next time in Cairo, I stay just in Villa Layla.

The room my husband and I had was spacious and well decorated. Loved the bath tub in there, added an extra romantic point. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location was great for us and it was close to everywhere we wanted to be. Loved our stay!

Hands down one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! Lovely people, very clean, centrally located, and a beautiful building (+ with sweet kittens)! They have made my trip to Caïro such a great experience. Totally worth a visit. Thanks again!

So much better than what I expected. The place takes the hostel experience to a new level of service excellence, cleanliness, and beauty that you'd expect from upscale hotels. And yet, for a very low price and an excellent location. Close to most of the spots you want to visit in Cairo. It's also smartly designed, offers at the same time space for socializing and space for rest and time alone between travels.
