Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI wish they did not serve a drink EXTREMELY hot and taking a long time to arrive. It makes everything take longer. Better to skip it if I was in a hurry. I wasn't given a towel, but I didn't end up asking for one because I had a little towel with me. I'm not sure how the AC works, if you can adjust it at all but there was a switch to turn it on and off (and it blasted cold which was good).
The breakfast is fine, healthy. The AC worked (but I think the power went out in the building sometimes), laundry was done for 5LE per piece (but took more than a full day it seemed), the WiFi was pretty good usually. Price and location are very nice.

HungaryThere was nothing. It is like having a second home.
The place is in a very food location in a nice building, close to everything. The staff is amazing, they helped me a lot. I lost my glasses and Mango helped me to find them when I thought I will never see them again. Also unfortunately I had to go to the hospital and they called the ambulance and came with me and were waiting until the doctor let me come back to the hotel. I got really exceptional treatment here. The staff kept checking on me time to time if I was doing okay so I felt completely safe even after having to go to a hospital. I would really recommend to stay here.

Saudi ArabiaActually nothing 🤷🏼♀️
I stayed at Meramees Hostel for 1 week and it was very nice! There is breakfast served daily and it’s very good. It also comes with coffee or tea. I stayed in a single room which was very clean and it had a private bathroom. It also had a tv and mini fridge. The WiFi is very good and the best I experienced in Cairo. One of my friends (I met while staying there) was teaching online and he was able to do so with no problems from my understanding. The staff are very nice and helpful! I will miss!

EgyptEveryone here was friendly, helpful, and patient, especially when I left the airport/ everywhere later than expected. They arranged affordable transfers and tours with safe, kind drivers, including Giza for way less than I thought was possible. The breakfast was good and filling, there was cheap bottled water on premises, and it just felt like staying with family overall. I *highly* recommend!

Saudi Arabia"I had an amazing stay at the Miami Hotel in Cairo, and one of the standout aspects was the exceptional service provided by Abdullah. From the moment I checked in, Abdullah was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. He was always ready with helpful tips and recommendations, making me feel truly welcome. The hotel itself is a hidden gem in Cairo. It's conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. The staff, especially Abdullah, made the experience even more enjoyable with their friendly attitude and attention to detail. I would highly recommend the Miami Hotel for anyone visiting Cairo, and a special thanks to Abdullah for his outstanding service!"

United StatesThe staff insisted that my booking for a double/twin room, which Booking.com specified would come with either 2 or 3 beds, was only for 1 bed. My friend was arriving before me, so I changed the name on the reservation to his name so he wouldn't have any issues checking in. Not only didn't they get his name, they forced him to pay for the stay before giving him WiFi access, meaning he wasn't able to confirm with me that I didn't book 1 bed for the two of us until after he had paid. Luckily Booking.com cleaned up the mess but the employees were absolutely useless and we would have had no leverage at all if we had booked directly with them. To top it off, once we finally resolved everything, they tried to scam us into booking a tour of the pyramids, threatening that at Giza we would be in the middle of the desert and unable to book a cab. Thankfully I knew that was total crap, but it left a terrible taste in my mouth as I was trying to give my friend an introduction to the Middle East and this hotel made a disastrous first impression and introduction to Egypt.
The rooms themselves were nicer than the building/lobby make it appear
