Lovely guesthouse with excellent location and fantastic view. Mohamed was amazing host, very kind, helpful and always available. He helped us organize visit to Philae Temple and also gave us many useful advices. The view from our balcony was priceless. The area is very peaceful and authentic, you are on the island in the real Nubian village. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. There is no better place to stay in Aswan than this. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite stay ever. Big thanks to Mohamed, the host, and his family for the warm welcome and the help provided along my stay. I will never forget their kindness. I liked everything about my stay, the room was all I needed, the breakfast is good, the view stunning, the island and the hostel’s surroundings very calm. Perfect.

I really enjoyed my stay in Aswan, the hotel is very pretty and my room was nice and spacious. The staff is really friendly and they helped me to get there and organised a nice tour to Abu Simbel for me. The hotel has a little restaurant with delicious food, too 😊

Situated on the island Elephantine, this place is very cozy and offers a beautiful view of the Nile. It had its own little restaurant, where you can get tasty food and drinks (try their fruit juices). The owner, Mohammad, is very kind and friendly. When talking about Nubian dates, he said he would get some for me on the market, and so he did and also gifted me dates from Saudi Arabia. Would highly recommend!

If you want a unique experience then this is the place for you. Unlike a stay at a normal hotel, this is something out of the ordinary. Mohammad, the owner, is amazing and ready to cater for anything required. The food in the restaurant is home cooked and the best food we had in Egypt. Highly recommend it.

Food was very delicious in the restaurant, traditional Nubian food 🤌. The host Muhammed was one of the highlights of our Aswan trip. He was quite considerate and even helped us to plan rest of our vacation. The view is amazing from that side of the Elephantine island. Highly recommended ❤️

Beautiful view towards St Simeon monastery bank. Enjoy the nubian hospitality in a quiet and colourful guest house. Warm welcome from the owner. He was very helpful during our stay. He arranges your arrival by private boat. You can then take the public ferry which is 3 min walk.

The hotel is located on an island and is accessible only by boat. The stairs from the river bank to the hotel room are quite steep and especially horrible when doing with luggage in 38 to 40 degrees heat. The room is without basic amenities like electric kettle or bathroom mirror. The only great part is the owner Mr. Mohammad who is super helpful and responsive. He is a one man army and does his best to make your stay in Aswan memorable.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful and the owner super helpful, always doing his best to help you on your trip. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves very tasty food. Can only recommend!

The staff is super-helpful. Mohamed is a great host and helped us with all our needs and arrangements. Elephantine island is a great place for visiting Aswan.

We had a great stay here; the views from the terrace were incredible, as was the welcome from the host. Elephantine island was such a magical place to stay in Aswan, and this accommodation had such a peaceful and special view of the West Bank. We were picked up from Aswan with no issues and given a ride to the guesthouse, which was a great experience.

Good location, nice and helpful hosts, powerful wi-fi and good beds.

Our room had only beds and a chest of drawers. It would be helpful to put some hangers or hooks on the wall.
