Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBathrooms are a bit dated but absolutely fine. And the velvet cushion covers on the pool deck chairs should be changed to cotton as it doesn’t fit the setting and feels so heavy.
The service is excellent and given with warmth and charm. We were a large group (14!) and when we said we wanted another tour guide that was kid friendly - they immediately brought someone else (Tamer!) who was amazing and able to engage and educate the children. The quick response and the grace it was done with was so appreciated by all of us! Also, everyday the dining manager checked if we were happy, whether we needed something bespoke for the kids and delivered (pizza was requested by teens!). The food was excellent and we are all missing the chili sauce! The reception staff was attentive and responsiveness and the cleaning staff were excellent. Also, the boat has the most wonderful roof deck with a beautiful pool layout. The striped umbrellas and towels made me feel like we were in the Riviera on the Nile!

SpainUnfortunately a group of vulgar people with uneducated children ruined the experience at times, making noise and running around the pool, the corridors and the restaurant. Had to complain to the front desk twice. Also when I first approached the front desk about my forgotten clothes they showed no willingness to help at all, claiming nothing could be done (not even a phone call to the other hotel) which was quite shocking. I had to insist a couple of times until the general manager got involved personally and resolved the issue eventually.
This ship exceeded expectations - beautiful pool and lounge, spacious room with comfy bed and large window, the food was amazing, super friendly staff, very well organised visits and super nice guide. The day we boarded the ship I realised I had forgotten some clothes in my previous hotel and the general manager stepped in personally to send someone to bring it back to me. This kind of hospitality really makes the difference.

United KingdomOn shore tipping requests at every possible opportunity - have to be resisted.
Food was good (Egyptian-European style) and the service excellent. All tour tickets and excellent guide included. No tipping on board just an envelope when you left.

United KingdomEverything was good. The entertainment in the evenings wasn't particularly my scene, but it is of course optional.
I had never previously been on a cruise of any kind, so wasn't sure what to expect - I was a bit nervous about feeling cooped up. Suffice to say, it wasn't a problem. It helped that we were upgraded to a better cabin, which was very spacious, but the boat didn't feel at all crowded. The best things were: - the deck, with magnificent views, both of the Nile while on the move and when docked outside Luxor temple - the food - the kitchen staff managed to produce varied and high quality food to cater for a wide range of tastes - arriving at magnificent temples by boat is pretty special

Overall great impression: new and well maintained ship, friendly staff. Great family rooms on the upper deck. The restaurant exceeded our expectations: the food was very tasty, big portions, nicely decorated, the waiters were very attentive. We were lucky that the ship was not fully booked on our dates, so the attitude was very personal. Fantastic tour guide! The excursions were interesting both for adults and children.

ItalyWater is not included during meals, only coffe and tea are.
I asked for gluten free food and I had gluten free food all the time, breakfast, lunch and dinner! The staff really took care of me. Also we had a tour guide with us for all the 3 days so we visited Philae temple, kombo ombo, edfu and Luxor (temples and kings valley). On the tv there was also a BBC documentary about egypt.

BrazilAll customers need to know clear about what things are really included! There are other cruises that you can pay about 1/3 of the price I payed on this one getting same benefits. There was a tour guide hire by the company as constrained and embarassment us to pay tips to drivers. Furthermore we had to checkout at 8am, two hours early the time shown on Booking.com
