Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilI still can’t believe it — this hotel is something else! You can see the Sphinx and the Pyramids right there, so close it feels like you could touch them. It’s insane, really. I mean, crazy unbelievable. The view is bold, majestic, and honestly left me speechless. I’ve seen pictures all my life, but to wake up and see THAT view with my own eyes? I can’t even imagine it — and yet, I lived it!

BrazilThis hotel is hands down one of the best I’ve ever stayed at! The service is exceptionally high-quality—from the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful touches throughout the stay. The staff go above and beyond, making you feel like a VIP every single day. What truly makes this place special, though, are the funny stories and spontaneous moments that happen all the time! Every visit brings something new and unexpected—whether it’s a hilarious interaction with the staff, a surprise event, or just the cheerful energy in the air, there’s never a dull moment. You’ll be laughing, smiling, and entertained from morning to night.

United StatesAmazing Stay Right Next to the Pyramids! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—just a one-minute walk from the Sphinx Gate and incredibly close to the pyramids. If you're looking for a place with a breathtaking view, this is it. My room was on a high floor with a stunning view of the pyramids, and despite the location, it was peaceful and quiet inside. One of the highlights of my stay was the famous rooftop, Roof 7000. It’s a well-known spot in the area and offers an amazing atmosphere, especially in the evenings. I really enjoyed spending time there. The hotel also offers great value, especially if you're planning to book tours. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is helpful when arranging sightseeing trips. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay near the pyramids—comfortable, convenient, and worth every penny!

United StatesHow water was none for shower, no tissue, no remote for tv, no bed cover , no driver when arrived first night of 3 that I paid for. Only had a driver to drive me back to the airport but head person was a first going to make me pay I reminded I paid 3 nights for 2 shuttle privileged . Smells like livestock
Breakfast a lot of bread, cheese , honey jam Beans, potatoes with red sauce , bananas , falafel no eggs .. tea cup was dirty A lot of flies because the sitting area on roof with great site of pyramids .. camels and horses kept just outside the hotel .. hence the flies probably land on animal dropping then your food . Should fave fly domes to cover the food while you can eat and keep the flies off your food

United StatesAccommodation: I am not sure if this place should be classified as a hotel, it was giving inn vibes, no name on the building and it was called "Great Scarab Pyramids Hotel", and at the time of this review, the name is "Panorama Isis". The Terrace also has no umbrellas, so it was very uncomfortable to sit outside under the scorching sun. Host: Welcoming, but very pushful on selling add-ons. Arranged for us a city tour which included visiting a Bazaar that was supposedly owned by his father and everything was up sold to us. Beware, so you are not taken advantage of. Know what you want and do not fall for these offerings. He had no awareness of how tired we could be especially considering we arrived with kids - arrival was around 230am and he wanted to just talk and talk about how great the views were. Food: We did not eat breakfast, because we did not think the sanitary conditions were satisfactory. Cleanliness: The room itself was clean, but with a lot of foul smell from cigarettes, camel and horse dung. The exterior was infested with flies and quite musty. You can hardly breathe when in the hallways. Amenities: We asked for a pressing iron, and they had none available. Sheets were old and uncomfortable to sleep on.
I will definitely give the location a 10, since it is right there in front of the pyramids. We were also received after midnight since our flight was extremely delayed. Communication was clear and response time was very short. Host was always available to answer questions and accommodate our requests. I am not sure, but this wasn't the name of the when we booked. It was "Great Scarab Pyramids Hotel". Price: Fair, but be warned that it is cheap for a reason.
