Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe room was large and comfortable with great air conditioning! The staff were also wonderful and arranged tours for me and transfers, as a solo female traveler they ensured my safety at all times. The swimming pool was great for cooling down!

SpainGiza is quite chaotic and the streets around the hotel are full of horses and camels that serve those tourists that want to take a horse carriage or camel to the pyramids. Hopefully, the government can clean up that area in the future, as it is not very pleasant to walk there. There are some details in the room that could be improved, such as the bathroom door that could not be closed from the inside because the handle was missing, but these are still minor things.
Great team and accommodation. Anwa, Dasha, and the rest (do not know their names and I am afraid I will misspell them) were very friendly and willing to help at all times. The hotel is fine and the pool is certainly something remarkable in that location in Giza. The rooms are confortable with air conditioning. It is only a 5-minute walk to the pyramids gate. We also got a transfer from the airport at our arrival which was late at night. Good breakfast and also the restaurant at the rooftop has a nice view of the pyramids. It was definitely a good value for money.

United KingdomFurniture in the hallways was nice but in the bedrooms very scrappy. There was insufficient protective restraint on the stairways. Quite dangerous!
The location was perfect and the staff were very attentive. The pick-up service was really efficient. They also organised a car&driver for our excursion which went very well.

United KingdomMaybe have something in bathroom the help clear the excess water after showering.
Loved the location as it is so close to Sphinx and Pyramids, the room was standard but comfy, the food was delicious and the roof top view of the Pyramids is very special. The staff were wonderful and really went above and beyond to help us when we needed it. Really glad we booked here for the start of our Egypt adventure.

United KingdomThe weather was cold when we were there and the a/c could not be put on to heat the room. The staff kindly gave us a heater for the time we were there. It is a modest, family run place.
The location would be hard to beat. Fantastic views of the pyramids, which are in walking distance. The staff were kind and friendly. Our room had a view of the pyramids as did the restaurant and the rooftop sitting area. We didn't get to use the pool but when the weather is hot it would be good to have.

United KingdomIt was a bit cold in the rooms at night and the bathroom was a bit outdated, nothing to ruin our stay ,though! All the rest made our stay a memorable one! Not sure how safe it would be to go out in the area at night,I preferred to stay in anyway, after long days of visiting the local attractions or use the taxi 😊
The staff at reception were really nice, ready to accommodate all of our needs( brought the ordered desert to our room, Ahmed made sure we had breakfast ready on our last day to take out). Three choices of breakfast. Gave us good advice on what to visit and how. We had a fantastic driver ( Mustafa) and an amazing guide Fayda, who made our stay very enjoyable and worth the money spent! Good distance to the pyramids and the Grand Museum

New ZealandNothing. This was the third time we stayed and it just got better each time
The staff are so amazing. They go over and above to help. It's a close location to Giza with a view of the pyramids from the restaurant. We ate mixed grill the two days we were there and it was good. We have stayed before and the food was not as great so my advice is stick to ordering Egyptian food. It is made well. Also the staff stored a bag for me for 3 weeks from the beginning of my trip to the end so I didn't need to drag it all over Egypt. That was really kind of them and nothing was ever a problem for them.

New ZealandThe restaurant food was ok. It would have been nicer to have some very well done Egyptian meals rather than average try to be western meals.
Amir was amazing. He personally took us to get money from the atm and made sure we got everything we needed. He also organised a driver and car to take us out to explore Cairo a bit for the afternoon. We could not have had a more helpful person.

United States1. The housekeeping is uneven, and I had to call them several times to clean where they had missed 2. The bathroom and in particular the shower is very small. I am a medium size person and my elbow kept hitting the shower.walls and walls while using the WC. The shower curtain is flimsy and needs to be weighted down at the bottom. Otherwise, the shower splashes all over the bathroom floor. In emerging countries, these kind of bathrooms are known as wet rooms, with good reason. 3. The swimming pool is wonderful, but pool area is very poorly maintained. The plants were all dead and artificial ones all dusty. So to beanbags. I talked to the new manager Ahab just before my last day and he obviously got them to start to clean it up. Hopefully they’ll maintain it. The other problem with the pool area is there must be some store rooms nearby. Staff constantly streaming through doesn’t add to the sense of poolside leisure. Still, you will treasured that plunge into the pool! 4. Be aware that a lot of your neighbors have horses and camels, the ones which take you up to the pyramids and back. That adds to a lot of local color, like you are still in the 1800s. But that also adds a rather redolent but not offensive smell to the neighborhood.
1. Location, location, location! Eight minutes walk from the entrance to the Sphinx in the great pyramids. A short Uber ride away from the magnificent new Grand Egyptian Museum. 2. The nightly sunset over the pyramids from the rooftop terrace. Also the Pyramid slight show. 3. The swimming pool - heavenly to plunge into after trekking to different tombs, museums and sites all over Cairo. 4. The staff. All of them go out of their way 24 seven to help you out.

Linen was clean and pillows comfortable. Good shower. Food was good we enjoyed the breakfasts. Fabulous to be able to see the pyramids so close. United KingdomUnfortunately, photos on Booking.com portray the hotel to be to a slightly better standard / condition than it the currently it is. Our room was not great, a massive hole on the side of the mattress, but it served its purpose for our visit to the pyramids and GEM.
The view of the pyramids was to be fair, spectacular we arrived on a Saturday in time for the sound and light show other than that not really must to like, sadly. Staff were nice and friendly and trying to make you welcome.

United KingdomThe room was not clean. The bedsheets had stains on them and the towels as well. The water pressure in the shower was non-existent. It was also so small and it had a huge shower curtain that kept on touching you while you were trying to have a shower in there. Also the prices at the restaurant were high and the food was not that great compared to what we had at other stays in Luxor etc. The waiter also tricked us by adding 2 extra sides when we asked if the 2 sides that were written on the menu were included and we could choose them. So we ended up with duplicate sides, would they not just ask if we made a mistake? Clearly a tactic to get you to buy more food. It just felt that they always did everything for money which was not genuine.
The view from the rooftop and the restaurant of the hotel was the best! Absolutely worth it just for the view. The people at the reception were also very friendly and kind. They picked us up from the airport and they helped us with getting some cash out. They also arranged a very good pyramids tour for us for a good price and our tour guide Fayda was so knowledgeable and took us to some great spots..

ItalyA few building hazards like the stairs and lift which are ‘creative’ and could do with a safety upgrade.
The location was great in the heart of Giza with clear views of the pyramids. If you want to experience the true craziness of Cairo then this is the area for you with camels and horses riding past, kids playing in the streets, and locals going about their daily lives. We had great fun haggling for taxis and enjoying the neighbourhood. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pyramid views from the restaurant and had a generous breakfast every day. All in all a really authentic experience for a couple of days but best suited to adventurous travellers.
